Totally underwhelming. Ramen came out less than luke warm. Tan tan was not spicy whatsoever. Plum sake served in a wine glass which really threw me off. Servers awkward. New York prices. Won’t go back.

A few years back i had an experience at wara wara that left me not wanting to come back but after a long time I went a few days ago and I have to say it really did much better than my last experience, the food was great,the drinks were phenomenal. The only thing is its a bit pricey for 2 people but over if you got the cash and want a great bowl of ramen here's the spot.
Two reviews 10 years Part: I've been here three times and I'm coming back here again tonight. Each time has been with different people. The wait staff is friendly. The environment is definitely very casual so don't worry about dressing a certain way. The ramen here is excellent, full of flavor, and though the menu is a little small when it comes to food it is huge and very filling. In fact one time I went with my friends there was someone who couldn't afford the food and we were in front of the cooks. He got a meal on the house! Will always recommend this spot and will always come back when I'm craving Ramen --- Recently came back for a date night night. Atmosphere, drinks, and apps were great. The ramen was a disappointment. The noodles were tough, the broth could have been hotter, and the tab tan men had no spice. Needed an extra order of chili oil to get it close to what I remember. It was my favorite from this shop. Unsure but it has changed for the worse. Would still come back but disappointed with the meal

But in my personal experience the food here is far from authentic Japanese ramen. The 30 hour ramen was yummy but tasted more like a wonton soup if anything and the toppings of the ramen also felt a bit odd. No chashu, no bamboo shoots, no spring onions, and the seeweed felt more like an afterthought than a component to the ramen.
But overall it’s a solid restaurant with solid food and reasonable prices, perhaps not the most authentic🫤
