“I hit up this restaurant on a Friday evening. We did not have reservations, but were able to get a seat. The place was full, our table of 2 was squeezed between 2 other tables of 2. I practically made new friends... seriously, we talked to people at both tables on either side, it was hard to avoid when you're practically dining with them. I don't eat cheese and the majority of the items are Italian based, with cheese. Our waitress was fantastic working with my food restrictions and the kitchen was able to make me a Hawaiian type pizza with a BBQ base... no cheese! This modification was certainly not expected but appreciated. If you are in for wine or beer, you're covered. They had plenty of options! There was an added bonus of live music which made the experience even better. My experience was in March while it was cold out. I see that there is outdoor seating, I imagine this place has a wonderful vibe in the summer & I would definitely come back to experience it again!“

Next time we ordered the same appetizer, they triple-checked that it was the correct one and even doubled the amount of food in the box!! Definitely redeemed themselves! It’s the FIRST pizza place in Woonsocket that serves REAL pizza. Not the greasy soggy wet crust that all the other places serve. “I feel like I have been frequenting Papa Gino’s recently because my parents love their chicken Caesar salad pita pockets. When I ask them what they want for dinner, it’s literally all they want haha. I espcially love their pita bread and pizza! Tonight I ordered a BLT sandwich for my husband and noticed that when we got home it wasn’t in the bag. I gave them a call and they were so quick to say they would make me a new one, free of charge. So I got back in the car to head back there only to find the sandwich had fallen out of the bag and lodged itself under a seat. Ugh, I felt so bad because this was around dinner time and I know they were probably busy. So I went to the store to explain the situation (since I knew they had already made it and packaged it up for me), insisting they let me pay for the new sandwich. The manager and his staff would absolutely not let me pay for it and were so so kind. When I asked for caramelized onions, I was told that they didn't have any but could cook some on the grill. I appreciate the honesty! When I arrived, the pizza was hot and ready. The price was better than most places and I left happy. The crust was tender but a little thicker than I like. Both pizzas were very good but not great. Overall I would recommend this place.“

“Well, it was 3:30 PM on a Monday and the wife and I ravenous, having had no lunch. We were traveling back from a doctor’s appointment and at this hour all restaurants with seating seem to be closed. Google said this establishment OPEN and I must say we went out of our way a bit but it was ever so worth it. We both had the Chicken Parm and when it was brought to our table by Bonnie our server we nearly passed out at the size of the plates…on a bed of spaghetti was heaped a generous portion of crispy chicken doused with tomato sauce and cheese! The crust is light and crispy, the sauce is on the sweeter side with a good balance of oregano and the fresh mozzarella is high quality. “I have to tell you, all the food is awesome. My family and I order from here often. I play in a hockey league twice a week and alot of the league members look forward to going to the Western afterwards, wether we win or lose. The restaurant and bar in great to unwind with all the league players, have a couple drinks and eat some pizza and and wings. All the food is fantastic but hockey night is pizza and wings, LOL. Get the pepperoni well done, I love it, this is not fast food pizza, one pizza can feed a family of 3 to 4, just so you know. It gets busy some times on the "hockey" nights when we are there but the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone, sometimes the server is alone in the bar by herself, tending to the tables and the bar because the kitchen staff is overwhelmed from all the ordering, in the restaurant and take out yet they all make everyone feel welcome.
