i bought a custard pie on friday 10/31 late afternoon. we cut it at night and it was watery not firm at all. we have bought many pies there and they were excellant. i took it back sat morning and the girl took it to the baker at that time and she came back and said 'he said thats normal for them'. she did not offer any apololgy for it or another pie. i think that was poor pr and i will never buy another pie there again.

This place was amazing. Great selection of pastries and dessert. They also sell Rhode Island style pizza and have a bar.

The peach melba muffin I purchased was black on the bottom when I peeled the paper obviously burnt and so dry. It didn’t taste like peach at all it had no favor whatsoever. Most of their dessert aren’t anything fabulous for the prices they charge. There’s nothing else in the area so that’s why they have the business no competition. The wine biscuits I have to say are the best thing they sell.

I am posting this review purely out of what deserts we did get and try. The chocolate cream pie was awful, the cream on it looks delicate and yummy but when I took a bite it was as if I had just put a spoonful of cold whipped butter on my tounge. It stuck in my mouth thick like mashed potatoes and just completely rough. The mini fruit pie was okay. The iced coffee was also okay. From what I experienced today I probably wont go back just due to it not being my taste of things I guess. On an upside, staff was nice and place looked clean.

The Staff were amazing!! I wanted something that was not in season and they said they would make it for me anyway. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the product. I wanted a banana cream pie and what I got didn’t taste like banana at all. The crust was perfect but there were barely any bananas in the pie. It looked beautiful coming out of the box unfortunately I found out it was because there was a ton of whipped cream on top. It was 2/3 whipped cream and 1/3 pudding. I wasn’t happy about that because it was for my son’s birthday. I have had pastries in there before that were delicious, but I wouldn’t give a recommendation for the banana cream pie

I have great appreciation for this establishment. Their pastries are exceptionally appetizing. I am particularly attached to their tiramisu cannolis! The pizzas are also delightful . They custom-made my pregnancy announcement cake, which was outstanding. The customer service is exemplary, and everything else is wonderful.

This is my favorite bakery in RI. I go there from Providence even though there are plenty of bakeries here. This location has excellent espresso, good pizza, excellent cannolis and the best prosciutto sandwich I’ve ever had. The prices are very fair.
Authentic Italian bakery with huge variety of sweets and savory items. Worth a visit at least once a week.
The best Gelato! Takes me back to Italy. Not to mention the wine biscuits, the best!! Everything is delicious.
Goodbye Pastryland!! I ordered 12 trays of wedding cookies for a thank you lunch I was hosting that was important to me. When the cookies were opened, I noticed a rancid odor. They tasted awful and left a bad after taste in your mouth. Also, the cookies at the very bottom were stuck to the tray and disintegrated when you picked them up. I realized quickly, I was sold old frozen cookies at a cost of $400. I was embarrassed and upset at the same time. The next day I called the bakery to let them know. I spoke to a very polite woman named Gina who kindly relayed my message to the owner. Unfortunately, the owner had Gina call me back to tell me he could not give me a refund unless I returned all the trays. I never asked for a refund. A call back from the owner with an apology would have been the appropriate response. Gina did offer to "make it right", but in my case, making fresh cookies the first time was the right thing to do. I'll miss you....😥
Italian kiss and croissants are so delicious 😋
