It's been a while since we have been there because of a bad few experiences with the food. But I have to say everything including our server Ashley was excellent. We will returning again soon. A few of us had the cod on the menu, my wife had the salmon special, one gad the steak and I had the short ribs, all were excellent. Caesar salads were delicious. So we are back as fans of Siena. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed away so long, it seems like they have their act together again. See you soon

We had a great dinner there on Saturday night. Our server was attentive and friendly and we enjoyed our meals.

Went on open table to book a reservation Only times available were 5pm or 7pm We booked 5pm. We were actually looking for around 6-6:30 During our dinner we noticed half the tables were empty. Apparently they save those for walk ins etc. They are losing business if they are going to keep offering times that are available but not showing on open table. We left at around 6:40 with still many tables empty.

It was tasty italianny-cooking... with love. The food, service, and atmosphere is very upscale, but the prices are very very reasonable :) Bi would recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for great food... good looking smiling service, and won't break the bank... this is it

If you don't have sufficient help you shouldn't open that evening. The restaurant can not survive with 1 bartender. The food was great as usual, the bill was $230 for the three of us which is fine but we waited over 15 minutes for the first glass of wine and as long for a second. This happens often in Smithfield but never in EG . Help is hard to find but so are good customers. I have never written a review but thought this might be helpful.

We have a place in Siena, Italy, so we love to visit Siena restaurants when we are in RI. The food is very good in both locations, but I think we like Smithfield better! We started with a delicious fried artichoke. My husband enjoyed the very tender filet mignon special, and I thought the pork in pears was outstanding! We finished with lemon crème brulee. Everything was exceptional! A very enjoyable evening surrounded by familiar Siena life!

Once again, server Tasha Machado delivered a master-class experience of the first rate, top shelf. Tasha always goes way above and beyond expectations and exhausts her heart & soul into giving the best possible care to customers, ensuring a memorable experience. I must also complement Amanda at the bar for her attention to minute details when accommodating unusual requests. Siena Smithfield has become a second home for me when dining out, and the kitchen, and Amanda, Danielle, Katija at the bar, plus the indefatiguable Tasha serving, combine together for a phenomal evening, every time. To Anthony, Nate and other owners/partners, you are fortunate to work with such a staff. Kudos!
