Sitting on the Verandah at the Ocean House on a gorgeous September afternoon, the view on either side of the table is spectacular because in one direction is the you're watching the blue water of the Atlantic crashing on the shore, the beach crowded with people , while the opposite direction has boats sitting in the harbor or coming and going... If you look to the side you can watch people playing crochet. Your lunch is delicious, the service 'perfetto'. What more can be said.
Stuffies were cold in the middle. This was the second time out of two times this was the case. First time thought a fluke because one was larger than the other but happened on second visit as well. Chicken club had a large slice of chicken skin in it. Thought I had bit into a piece of plastic but it was a rubbery piece of chicken skin. For a resort of this caliber expected better. Would not recommend it for the food but for cocktails with a view it can't be beat.

Food was delish. Probably the best stuffed clams I've ever had! Clam chowder was good but not extraordinary. Tomato salad with buratta salad was great, but they skimped on the cheese. One small ball of it with many tomatoes. Trying to get that “perfect bite” got tougher as the cheese ran out before the tomatoes. The downside was the service not up to par.
