It’s a family-operated restaurant, and their kindness and hospitality continue to make every experience special. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and the quality of both the food and service is always excellent.

If you’ve tried Indian cuisine before, this place will quickly become your favorite. And if you haven’t tried it yet, this is the perfect place to be introduced to it! I dine here frequently—it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

“Saffron Indian cuisine has delicious, authentic Indian food. The lunch specials are great, and filled with options for everyone. I was able to make two meals out of mine due to the portion size. The pakora is fantastic and the lamb in my korma was tender and cooked well. I also took home a meal for a friend (mango chicken with pakora appetizer) who said it was fantastic. Nothing was overcooked and the spice level was perfect. Would definitely recommend!“

“Persis was recommended by a friend while we were on vacation in the Greenville area and our experience was even better than expected. The service was welcoming and friendly. The appetizers, dinner, drinks, and dessert were flavorful and filling. It met the needs of our group with vegetarian and gluten free options. If we lived in the area this would definitely be a regular favorite!“

While the wine selection can be inconsistent—often because certain menu items are out of stock—the staff has always done a great job recommending comparable alternatives. I wouldn’t normally enjoy a chilled Cabernet, but here it actually works beautifully, complementing the spice and depth of the Indian cuisine.
Service has always been solid, but this visit truly stood out. Our server, G, was phenomenal. He seems to be part of the family or the next generation involved in the business, and it really shows in his dedication and pride. He went above and beyond to elevate our experience, making this the best service we’ve ever had at India Palace. We’ll definitely be asking for him every time we dine there going forward.“
