“I must say that the food was absolutely delicious, but the service was above and beyond. The assistant manager, Marissa, even came to our table and introduced herself and let us know that if there was anything at all that we needed or anything that was unsatisfactory that we could come see her and she would see that it was made so or made right. Usually you never meet management until there is an issue, so this was a nice change. Thank you very much Marissa for a great dining experience.“

“We came to Anderson to watch our grandson play football, at Anderson University (which is only about a 20 minute drive) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The campground was very nice, quiet and clean. Cindy (I believe she was over. seeing the Campground while the owners were away) was awesome! She checked on us each day to see if we needed anything, gave us rides on the golf cart around the campground and even hung out and chatted around the fire a couple nights with us. As I said before it’s convenient located to AU, ClemsonUniversity and downtown Anderson. The restaurant on site was excellent unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of the waterpark but it looked like so much fun. We will definitely be back.“

“We had the best time at maki last night! We had the new scallop entree and the new mule and both were amazing!!! The new renovations are beautiful & the food & service were amazing as always! Really hope they keep the scallop dish & the mules like they are!!“

“Had lunch yesterday and it was great. We had French toast with strawberries which was recommended by our waiter, Hoyt who was exceptional. It was a quaint atmosphere and the service was excellent, we will be back.“

“My husband and I frequent this place a lot and love the food and the friendly staff. I have tried multiple things as a picky eater and haven’t been disappointed once. My one and only gripe (again, I’m a picky eater) is that I have never heard of peas and Lima beans being in Mexican or Spanish rice and it just threw me. Everything else is great. They even bring multiple salsas and queso to the table that are complimentary. Try the Texas margarita!“
