“First time at pixie and bills and I will be coming back just to see the server emily again. She was the happiest welcoming person. I have never once left a tip that doubled my check but she really made it that special. Food was good but she is what has convinced me to come back. If you go ASK FOR EMILY SHE WILL ELEVATE THE “
“I am from Arizona and I miss authentic, Sonoran Mexican food. This is the closest I have found, and they have the best salsa in the upstate, in my opinion. There salsa verde is the best I have found. The charred tomato and spicy tomato salsa are fantastic as well, though I am allergic and should not have had any! But I'll be fine. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing my husband, sisters, their husbands, and niece/nephew asap! PS: the chips are so good!“
“If you are in need of catering - this is the place! Teri is/was awesome. She catered our company Christmas party and could not have done anything better than it already was. We had the chicken bog (I've had it before and knew I wanted it on our menu), brisket, and bbq. The sides and the desserts were just as good as the entrees. They arrived early, setup, served, and cleaned up with promptness and professionalism. I wish I had taken pictures because my review isn't going to do it justice. I will be using them again!“
“I went in and got my food because the drive-thru speaker was down. It took a minute to get my order taken at the counter, however, I only seen 3 employees in this place on a Sunday night in Clemson during football season? Bad scheduling or just no help? These people were running back and forth all over the place. A guy spilled an entire drink in the floor and the manager sent a guy from the back immediately to clean the lobby floor. The manager was changing the oil in the fryers (at 7:00 on a Sunday night) I would assume, as someone who has worked in food service for some time now, for a manager to be doing this mid shift with limited employees that it was due to a customer complaint about the grease. Is policy not for this to be done after closing or before opening? These people did not seem to be bad or careless employees….they seemed to be doing the best of their ability under the circumstances and yes— I’m giving them an A for effort in a world where most people are giving none. Thank you to the folks who DO show up and do the jobs that no one “wants” to do.“
“Wow wow ! This place definitely has authentic flavors. Coming from someone who grew up eating this type of food I have to say it reminded me of our flavors. Staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming. Honestly such great service which made the whole experience even better. The kids have a great selection of food to order from and that's from 12 years and younger. My daughter had the enchilada with beans and rice and she devoured it! My son had the shrimp quesadilla and that was gone in seconds. I decided to get the quesabirria and it was so tasty. The consomé was very flavorful and the tortilla was crispy. My fiancé had the mojarra and that in itself was fried perfectly. They have a salsa bar in the back that has a lot of different types of salsas that are super authentic and flavorful. The place is very clean and pleasant with tons of space and comfortable booths. I'm so happy I took a peak at other 5 star raving reviews and I definitely agree this is the spot for good Mexican food.“
“This was our fifth visit to Monte Alban. It has become our favorite restaurant. The service was outstanding! We had five different people stop by our table to ask if we needed more chips. The food is probably the best Mexican food that we have tried…and we have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in this and neighboring states. I would like to thank Enrique and his staff for allowing me to practice my Spanish there. They have been very understanding and accommodating. ¡Este es nuestro restaurante favorito!“
“This unique, major-urban-center-excellent, Asian/Mediterranean- fusion eatery is the newest find for us Pendleton-Clemson residents, and we're over the moon! The pizza is superb, as is the sushi and selection of wood-fired veggies. Plus, they have a great selection of IPAs. And prompt, thoughtful wait staff.Vegetarian options: Lots of sushi rolls and veggie pizzas and sides.Parking: With a Handicap placard, we walked four feet.“
“Food was amazing and great service. Cheese grits were perfect. Chairs are uncomfortable and one of our tables rocked back and forth if you touched it. Also, too many seats at the table so it felt very crowded with 8 place settings.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian entree.“
“We have eaten here for many many years. The food is always delicious that has never been an issue. Service can be a tad slow at times, but it is family run and we knew the old owners well. It has changed ownership since. Our last visit the poor girl said her help called out so she was alone. Amazingly she kept our tea full and we got our food quickly, despite a full dining area. One girl flying with her cart did an amazing job vs other places we eat that just plain suck. I left her a gracious tip as she worked really hard. Building could use some touch ups, but then again it has not changed in 20yrs and has many good memories for us. Spring rolls are the best!!Vegetarian options: You can ask for just about any dish to be vegetarian. My friend has several times.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is level and there are no steps. I see wheelchair individuals here frequently.“
“Great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices for upscale dining. We have eaten there, in Clemson, several times and have never been disappointed. A special entree or two might add a unique appeal for those wanting something other than the menu A GREAT PLACE TO EAT“
