Visited family and the art show in Pendleton, and came here for dinner. We were seated on the non-bar side, and had a very attentive and entertaining waitress (Violetta I think?) Everyone's food was yummy (my brother and sister-in-law split a salad and a burger, which they loved), husband had a burger (loved it), and my Fettuccine Alfredo was probably the best I've ever had. Dessert was tempting but we were stuffed. Will definitely come back when we're in the area again!
Had a great first visit to the Blue Heron the night before Pendleton's weekend spring/ artfest. We were seated promptly. We ordered the calamari which was good and split the surf and turf special. While we were both full it was disappointing that turf consisted of only two overcooked shrimp. The creme brulee was good but only had half a strawberry....literally. Food was amazing and great service. Cheese grits were perfect. Chairs are uncomfortable and one of our tables rocked back and forth if you touched it. Also, too many seats at the table so it felt very crowded with 8 place settings.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian entree.
