“My husband and I really enjoy going by cookout and getting two trays ? I understand they have staffing problems sometimes and if everyone is not pulling their weight in a business it causes problems for everyone. I do not believe in running a business down for some minor issues! The food has been good every time we've been there and that has been quite a few since they have opened. We went by recently and got milkshakes because I had heard they were good!! Got a thumbs up ? also their staff is very friendly.Thank you Cook Out for coming to our small town ?“
“Drive-thru is normally quick with friendly service. Now and then there may be a slight wait, but that's usually due to the customers ahead of you. I don't mind the wait because the food for the most part is fresh. If you don't want to wait in line at the Drive-thru, you can always order online. It's quick, easy to use, and just smart.“
“On my quest to visit and review all the restaurants in my new home town, Batesburg-Leesville, I had lunch at Hardee's. I perused the menu and decided I would combine my visit with another of my quests, to find the best fast-food chicken sandwich. When I entered I was greeted very nicely by the cashier. The dining room and restrooms were clean. I ordered their Hand Breaded Chicken Sandwich. When I opened the sandwich, I was happy to see it had been double wrapped in a way that made it very easy to eat, especially if you were in the car. The sandwich came on a very good brioche bun and was topped with a light amount of mayo and the best tasting pickles I have had so far in my chicken sandwich quest. The chicken was white meat, med-thickness, med-crisp and was a little larger than the bun. It was not the best tasting chicken fillet sandwich I have had in my quest, but on the whole, it was a very good sandwich. If I were to give any suggestions it would be to fry it a little crisper and add a little more mayo. That would put it at the top of my list.“
“Wendy's is always one of my favorites, but it's still just fast food. The service at this one was exemplary, and it made the food that much better. Very clean store as well. The strawberry feisty is very good, but the chocolate one is still better to dip your fries in. ;)“
“I have had mixed inexperiences with this place to be honest, sometimes they can be quick and at other times the drive thru people are rude and they take a long time on a small order. But it depends on who is their working at the time I will have to say with how fast you will get your good and how your experience goes but other wise the place hasn't been terrible.“
“This is a wonderful place to eat. It's located in the traffic circle outside of saluda and Lexington county. The staff was friendly and the place was super clean. I had the chicken tenders and wing chips with sweet tea. I recommend this place. Average prices, great quality.“
“Looking for good old fashioned down home cooking? Then it's worth the drive to go to Southern Thymes Cafe. Food was tasty, came out quickly but obviously freshly made and service was great. Our waitress never let our coffee get cold before offering a top off.“
“Wife and myself ate here Saturday February 17, 2024 for the first time and we were very pleased. Not only was the service very friendly and fast, but huge portions on our plates. This is a hidden gem in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. I ordered a Chili cheese fries for appetizers and it was delivered quickly. Before I could get 1/4 through the Hugh plate, my main plate of BBQ Ribs and fries was delivered. Wow! I have never had service so fast and Huge portions whereas I just finished the Ribs and had to take the rest home. My wife had the hamburger steak and collard greens. The plate was loaded. I wish I had taken a picture to show the huge plate of food. It was delicious and she couldn't eat even half and we took the rest home. This is definitely going to be my favorite restaurant in this area, and will definitely return each weekend to try other dishes. I extremely recommend this restaurant which is located across from the WalMart shopping center. The waitress we had did an excellent job and gave great service. Only caution is if you get there after 5:30, it is super crowded because the food and value is so good. If you can get a parking spot, it will be worth the wait. They have a very limited schedule to be open so plan accordingly.“
