Love eating here! Atmosphere, food and staff are fantastic! Fish stew (or red chicken stew) with the hush puppies are my favorite! Great variety to choose from and they treat you like family. ☺️
Some of the best fried chicken!! Mike's Smokin' BBQ really helped me out. I ordered a 32 piece from a local grocery store a week ahead of the needed date. I called again to confirm my order. My husband went to pick it up for me and they told him they didn't have the order and there was nothing they were going to do about it to make the order good. He stopped by Mike's and they made it for him fresh on the spot! The price was great as well! I highly recommend it!!!

The food is real country cooking, with specific meals like a brisket sandwich, fried jumbo shrimp, fish stew (or red chicken stew) with hush puppies, and some of the best fried chicken. The restaurant has a small front parking area but extra parking in back. The staff are friendly, attentive, and treat customers like family. The atmosphere is fantastic, the price is perfect for all you can eat, and the bathroom is clean and well updated. It is a perfect pit stop for lunch, and a new go to place for BBQ that fills up quickly, so going early is recommended.
