Fresh Cut Fries were delicious. Better than most out there. The Chicken Tenders were juicy & delicious. The breading was crispy. I was impressed. The people working were so nice.
Place was super clean. Handicap access & Picnic tables were a plus.

We are visiting Dafuskie Island for the day. We stopped in at the mercantile and asked Beth about things to do here on the Island. She got a gleam in her eye and explained like we had won the lottery that “Fryes chicken is open today “. Well we headed out and found this little chicken shack and what a dining experience it is!! Three chicken strips would feed a large family. Biggest I’ve ever seen. The fried are hand cut and fried to perfection. However that were running low on fries so they offered half and half with onion rings. I’ve pretty much quit buying onion rings as they are usually right out of the freezer bag. But these were AWESOME! If we ever get back to Dafuskie this place will be top of the list of places to visit. The couple that own/run the place are super nice as well. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you can.

As an admitted skeptic of overly glowing reviews of small local places in quieter vacation towns, I was wary of the hype of Frye's Corner.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! Top notch fried shrimp and Vidalia onion rings(grab the boiled peanuts if they have them too!). Hoping to get back one more time before our trip is over to try the chicken tenders.
We stopped by Frye’s corner twice last week. OMG, what can I say? The shrimp and onion rings were probably the best I’ve ever had! The coleslaw was also excellent! We really enjoyed talking with Trish and her hospitality! Highly recommended!! Chris and Megan.

Best tenders I have ever had and they are huge. Wings are great I really like the homemade hot sauce, it has a different taste to it. Onion rings are amazing. Everything is homemade and fresh. The staff is very nice. If you come to Daufuskie try this for lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

I could have just ordered a giant box of onion rings.The service was good and the picnic area was a really pleasant place to eat. If I ever make it back to daufuskie, I'll be back to Frye's.
