As an admitted skeptic of overly glowing reviews of small local places in quieter vacation towns, I was wary of the hype of Frye's Corner.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! Top notch fried shrimp and Vidalia onion rings(grab the boiled peanuts if they have them too!). Hoping to get back one more time before our trip is over to try the chicken tenders.

We stopped by Frye’s corner twice last week. OMG, what can I say? The shrimp and onion rings were probably the best I’ve ever had! The coleslaw was also excellent! We really enjoyed talking with Trish and her hospitality! Highly recommended!! Chris and Megan.

Great place to grab lunch, the fastest lunch on daufuskie for sure..amazing chicken and the onion rings are out of this world.. don't forget to grab some boiled peanuts:)
Best tenders I have ever had and they are huge. Wings are great I really like the homemade hot sauce, it has a different taste to it. Onion rings are amazing. Everything is homemade and fresh. The staff is very nice. If you come to Daufuskie try this for lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

We got the fried shrimp, fries, onion rings, and a brownie. The fried shrimp, fries, and brownie were really good. The onion rings were the best I've had in ages. I could have just ordered a giant box of onion rings.The service was good and the picnic area was a really pleasant place to eat. If I ever make it back to daufuskie, I'll be back to Frye's.

A great place to have lunch when you are on Daufuskie Island. A little hard to find if you are new to the area but ask the locals they are friendly and helpful. Lots of carr parking and some picnic tables or take out and eat at home. We had Chicken and fries and shrimp and fries. Both were delicious. The chicken was crispy with a spicy blend. Shrimp was also crispy coated and well cooked and had a great flavour. Fries were fresh made. Bottled water was ice cold. Super friendly and happy to see you. Lots of cart parking.

We stopped in here for a quick bite today and all I can say is wow! What a wonderful treat! Freshly breaded chicken strips, hand-made onion rings and French fries- even beer and soda available to buy. Go earlier than you think you should as they do run out of food since everything is fresh.
Love Frye's.....Trish and husband put out several great meals so we look forward to their coming to Daufuskie Island. Tom Kubic..alias Sandy .
