We are visiting Dafuskie Island for the day. We stopped in at the mercantile and asked Beth about things to do here on the Island. She got a gleam in her eye and explained like we had won the lottery that “Fryes chicken is open today “. Well we headed out and found this little chicken shack and what a dining experience it is!! If you are interested make sure you arrive very early. When the food is gone so are they until next time! They also have boiled peanuts now. Just might be the only place on Daufuskie Island!
