Tee boxes in horrible shape, mostly weeds. Cart path is bad. Potholes in areas and a lot was just dirt. Clumped grass all over the course. Rough hasn’t been mowed recently, Court signage needs improvement l. Greens were in fair shape at best. Had recently been aerated but no one told us. If the green fees weee $30-$35 then it might be worth it. One and done for me

Please do not pay 70$ for this course. Over half of the tee boxes don’t have grass it’s literally dirt. The fairways are all dead and the ground is hard as a rock. Most of the fairways all have dirt spots in the middle of the fairways. Eagles point across the street is 30$ cheaper and it’s 100x better. 70 is actually insane.

Booked an afternoon Tee-Time on a Saturday and was looking to walk 9 holes. Went into the pro shop to confirm my Tee-Time and was greeted by a very rude employee at the front desk. I checked in and he informed me that the course was packed and told me I was going to have to pair up with another single (which is not a problem at all). He then informed me that we would have to share a cart when I informed him that I was planning on walking and refused to let me walk, after seeing multiple walkers already on the course while pulling in. The course is also in very rough condition and should not be $80 for 18 holes or $50 for 9. I would not and will never recommend playing here to anyone, there are tons of other courses minutes away that are better priced, in way better condition, and have a more friendly staff.

Great layout and friendly staff. The staff was very helpful from dropping off clubs to helping unload at end of round. Course was in very good shape. Couple of tee boxes were rough, but the fairways were great and the greens were fast even though they are still working on a couple of them. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.

Nice front 9 with 1 & 2 greens on the state highway. Other than that, it’s all private.
Greens were well maintained.
But the back 9 was dicey with some holes mostly dead grass and back side greens being aerated lined & sand added.
Glad I okayed, but not looking at going again. Good luck with fixing the back 9.

I played here a few years and to be honest, it was in terrible shape. Not anymore! Beautiful conditions. The staff have done a wonderful job in turning this course around. Loved it. Glad to see a nice course make a dramatic comeback.

My husband and I golfed here this morning We’ve played Island West the last three times we’ve came to HHI. Each time we’ve seen marked improvement. We highly recommend this course due to the conditions and friendly environment

Very disappointed. This course is headed in the wrong direction. Lots of standing water near greens. In addition, greens look ok from a distance but they are full of sand with bare spots in some areas. Many areas were mowed with clumps of grass laying about. Traps poorly maintained.Service was poor. They seemed to care little about people playing. It was near 100 degrees when we made the turn. There were no water stations on the course and no beverage cart to get rehydrated. Only option was a 40 cent bottles of water for 3 dollars. Upon leaving staff stood and watched as we unloaded our cart, then offered no assistance when loading into car. Proshop was equally uncaring. It is clear they are understaffing and cutting corners because they are in financial trouble. Sorry I wasted part of my vacation here. Only gave it a 2 because it has a nice layout (which was done many years ago).
