One Hot Mama’s offers great barbecue and customer service. The food is amazing, with the ribs being the best in a while and very filling. The chicken pecan salad is refreshing on a hot day. The brisket is award winning, flavorful, and tender, served with a heated bottle of their bbq sauce. A lunch option for $15 includes meat (brisket) with 3 sides and cornbread, which is a really good deal. The Mac and cheese is really good, the baked beans are very good, and the sausage cornbread stuffing is creative. The smoked chicken platter for $20 is the best thing by far, tasting like a smoked and fried turkey leg. The brisket breakfast burrito on the weekend brunch menu is really good and big for the price, with a great sugar waffle side. The Burnt End chili is amazing and yummy. The chocolate covered ribs are different but cooked well, though the flavor isn’t great; the cornbread is delicious, moist like cake. The wings with Maui sauce and bbq are a bit underwhelming, but the boneless wings are like small chicken tenders. Service is professional, with Raul the manager providing calm and quick thinking to fix an online order, and Gabriela being very attentive and knowing the entire menu. A super friendly waitress always checked in with refills. Guests will definitely be back to try more barbecue and the banana pudding.
