“The owner has been serving the best bbq for years. My entire family looks forward to eating at Bluffton BBQ whenever we are in town! He always treats my children to mandarin oranges and my dog to a bone.“

“We went for Dinner with another couple. Parking lot appeared very full but we were seated very quickly. We waited quite a while for our waiter. He was so soft spoken & questioned what we were ordering a couple times. He brought waters, then bread (butter was so hard you couldn't spread it). The other woman ordered soup. It arrived prior to their alcoholic drinks. We were told it would take a while for the drinks because they were shorthanded & the person behind the bar was actually a waiter.
Our Food was very good. I ordered the Salmon & Shrimp Combo. I brought the Salmon home as leftovers. While I was eating the Salmon I realized there were Pinbones in it. I believe I swallowed 2 of them & found 2 more. These should not have been there as prepared by a Chef.
Again, food was very good, however service was slow and Bones in the Fish. Won't be coming back too soon. Not going to say never but we'll have to think about it.“

“I travel all over the US for work and eat BBQ everywhere I go. I usually go for brisket over pulled pork, but went with the pork for dinner today. Absolutely fantastic pulled pork, it was delicious. Best potato salad I’ve had, baked beans were amazing. Sauces were super tasty as well. I’ve been spoiled by eating tons of Texas bbq, but Forrest Fire BBQ can hold its own anywhere.“

“Night shift 1am crew deserves a standing ovation. Night shift GM Quan accommodated my allergy and has always been extremely friendly at the window even during the night hours. This location is unique as it’s the only thing open on HHI outside of bars past midnight on Fridays and Saturday’s. The line may go into the street sometimes but nobody gets that line moving like Quan and the crew! Gets my order right every single time and I imagine the same goes for the other orders even when people are in the back of a pickup truck! HHI wouldn’t be the same without this place 🏝🦀🦈“

“Mahalia was a very friendly server. She needed a little more confidence to remember to come back with the answers to our questions timely. We asked if the risotto was available as a side, we didnt get the answer therefore we didn't order it. Also she needs to be the server to deliver any extra items of dressing, straws, the check instead of passing the task to another server. Some additional training and encouragement is needed for her. She has great potential. I manage a call center, I would hire Mahalia because she was do well. Food was good, especially the collard greens and gouda grits. Next time we come back to HHI we will come to Frasers.“

“This is a hidden gem, you would think it's just a golfing place but inside is big Jim's BBQ. We had an excellent waiter, fast and friendly service. Good food.
Would recommend checking them out for good food at a decent price. I had the nachos and my wife had fish tacos, both were delicious.“
