We were so happy to have found Up in Smoke on our trip! We ended up eating there 3 nights! The pastas were wonderful, the steak was excellent and the staff was awesome! Thank you guys so much!
Our first visit (other than the grand opening) for dinner was fabulous! I had the best shrimp and grits I've ever eaten! My husband had chicken piccata, then we shared a Creme Brulee for dessert. Delicious! We sat beside a couple who said they also had some of the best entrees: steak and blackened grouper. We can't wait to go back!
Up in Smoke BBQ is a great addition to the food offerings on Daufuskie! Everything is good!

Based on the reviews, Up in Smoke BBQ offers fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The brisket, ribs, and key lime pie are amazing, and the stuffed flounder and pastas are wonderful. The steak is excellent, and one of the best salads and the onion soup are highly recommended. The Old Fashions are excellent, and the chocolate martini is luchoius. The restaurant accommodates a large group with ease. The staff is awesome, and service is great. A bartender named Woody is super friendly, attentive, and made guests feel welcome. The waitress Jody was the best. The overall experience is one of the best, and guests plan to return.
