This is the best, authentic Mexican I have ever had. They even made me a special drink of Sprite, lemon extract, and a splash of rum that was better than anything I’ve ever had. The shrimp tacos have ruined me for shrimp, tacos anywhere else! And their churros have creamy caramel inside, you also have to try the strawberries Fresca!
Three of us tried for the first time. Ordered carne asada platter, chimichaunga, and carne asada and queso quesadilla. All excellent. Be careful if you order a margarita on the rocks. They use granular sugar and it does not dissolve.
This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. My wife had the chili relleno which was made the correct way with a poblano pepper, cheese and a nice egg batter. I had the “tablita hencho en Mexico, which had two types of beef and chorizo along with the sides. I highly recommend this place! It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. As a sidenote, they had a great looking taco stand outside the front of the restaurant (will try next time)
