Decided to try Papa John's again after about 7 years of not having it and now I remember why I stopped eating it. The pizza was flavorless, barely had any sauce or cheese. Crust was hard and dry!! Definitely will not be back to any of them. Sadly!
The new dough presses and dockers ruined the crust quality, making it like cardboard. No need to give out garlic sauce, there is no crust worthy dipping it in. The dough is no longer airy and chewy. It is now lifeless and really tough. Please return to hand stretched goodness with minimal hole punches.
