“I ate here on june 13th. the food was very good i was sad because i didn’t get a dog bowl just a regular plate (my girlfriend got the bowl which i used for my photo op) im assuming i didn’t get the bowl because i ordered cole slaw which i do love cole slaw. murphy didn’t get cole slow, she doesn’t like cole slaw.”

“I ordered three subs I didn’t look in the bag and they didn’t put my cookies in there. I’m not happy. I don’t think anybody should go to the subway ever again and I called Subway several times nobody answered. I called the gas station several times. Nobody answered so if you ever need attention for your food, don’t be calling them.”

“I found this coffee shop online on Sat, 12/23/23, when I was searching for one nearby since Buck 'N Brew (Landrum, SC) & Tandem Creperie (Travelers Rest) were both closed. I'm so glad I found this shop! Once I heard from Lori (1 of the owners) that their maple latte was made from maple that was driven down from VT (I'm originally from NH), I decided to try it - SOOOO good! Denis (Lori's hubby) told me their milk was from a nearby farm, so I got that in the latte; it was so smooth! I also ordered a trio berry scone that was yummy! So impressed with this place & the friendliness of the owners! I'll def be back to try the Winterberry drink. MERRY CHRISTMAS & TY!”

“Stopped by just before closing & had a delicious piece of gf Lemon cake. My husband had the gf fudge brownie, also wonderful. We were very impressed with the owner Bailey. We own a couple of independent similar cafes so we can appreciate the amount of effort she puts in to her cafe. I don’t know how she does it but the made from scratch goodies & cappuccinos were top notch. We plan on going back as much as possible!”

“Breakfast was Amazing we both had the Omelet. I had the Denver and Gordon had the meat lovers. So good! The potatoes were a nice surprise with sweet potatoes as well. The orange marmalade and the orange slice on the thick toast made the perfect dessert. Service was fast and friendly. I Can’t wait to take the grand baby for ice cream. 5 stars for sure.”

“We stopped on our way to Asheville for our anniversary. Oliver greeted us on arrival and was so sweet! When I asked to get a picture with Oliver, I was asked if we had been there before. I told her it was our first time and it was our anniversary. They gave us a signed bottle of their sparkling wine and the (emplty because it was so good) bottle is now in a special place on display with other sentimental pieces at our home.”

“My family of six picked up some treats on our way to hike. The honey pistachio cake, blueberry pop tart, triple chocolate cupcake, chocolate cookie and baguette were INCREDIBLE! And prices were reasonable. I wish we lived closer but we’ll be making the 30 minute trip again soon!”

“Went to Pisgah brewery out in Swannanoa for a concert where pigeons played ping-pong was the band. I had 2 of the pulled brisket sandwiches with a Side of French fry’s for each of them. It was all very good. The food truck for Mountain View Barbecue and Deli was there.”

“This us a very beautiful place and perfect for a quick stop. We got the hit chocolate and it was the perfect temperature, it didn’t burn our tongues but was still super warm. Ut was also not too sweet but not bitter either. This is one of our favorites!”

“Every dish was exceptional. We had mussels, lobster bisque, the Pasta Flight, the Shrimp and Grits flight , the Coastal Flight and the 509 House flight. I wish we had had room for dessert. The service and food delivery was perfectly timed. Just an amazing meal.”

Their Italian meals are the best in town, always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The quality is top-notch and you can tell they don’t cut corners. “My husband Mike and I went the other day for the very first time. I got a mocha latte with espresso. It was just a perfect blend together. My husband and I felt comfortable in an incredible atmosphere. Way better than any other coffee shops we ever been to.”

“Chips and Cheese is one of those places that just gets it right—every single time. The service is always friendly and fast, the food is ridiculously tasty, and they’ve got the coldest beer in town. I love that they always have music playing and a salsa bar that takes it to the next level. You even leave smelling like you’ve been somewhere worth it (in the best way). On top of all that? The prices are just as good as the food. Makes it even easier to keep this place in the regular rotation. Big thanks to the team—y’all crush it every time.”
