“Tried this place while visiting a friend in Columbia. I had the oxtails dinner which came with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. The food was all really good. No complaints. I would have loved for it to be a little warmer. The cocoa bread was also very tasty. My friend had the pineapple ginger drink and it was delicious. I had the fruit punch and it was also delicious. I will definitely visit this place again. The guy who took our order was very nice and held a conversation while we waited. Would have been 5 stars if the food was hotter.“
“First of all customer service was on point, was greeted well and served well. I'm glad I got there early as traffic was building up very fast. I wasn't sure what to expect but based on what my friends had said I was already excited. When the food came I was very impressed with the presentation, and taste of the food. I had heard alot about this place and I'm glad I got to witness the amazing delicacy in person. I'm a believer now.“
“The manager Wendell has a fantastic staff. My mom, and I had lunch there today, and got our go to Chicken Fresco bowl. Reagan took our order, and was extremely helpful with everything that we got especially her kindness. I was very pleased with her service with a smile. I also got a takeout order for my husband this time Justin S. took my order. He was very well mannered, and polite as was Reagan. I didn’t exactly know what to get my husband so I’d picked something out, but was unsure if my husband would even like it. Justin S. took his time with me to help, and helped me to decide on something he’d like. I even asked him his favorite dish, and went what he suggested. I admire people that work with the public that actually know how to joke with you, and laugh with you. I absolutely love Tropical Grille for this reason among others, and have no intentions of finding another restaurant in the future. As I told them today I never knew that they were there until I was leaving another store one day, and the rest is history. Every time I’ve been there the staff has always been extremely nice, and helpful in any way possible. They make you feel like family! In the future to anyone reading this PLEASE stop by, and grab something to eat. Experience the friendly atmosphere that my mom, and I do. Btw, they’re on Sunset Drive across from Publix. Thanks for everything to the staff at Tropical Grille.Parking: There are enough parking spaces in this area to accommodate the customers of Tropical Grille, and the other places located in this location.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is wonderful. I’m sure they’d turn the tv on to accommodate a toddler that wasn’t having a good day. They have booster seats, and I imagine high chairs. They also have a kids menu ranging from fries to chicken tenders. Some kids may even enjoy their chicken that comes in a bowl.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot naturally has wheelchair accessibility . The dining area is very open to people that are handicap, and the restroom is also very spacious with grab bars if needed.“
