Best brunch spot and best bartenders in Columbia! Ask about the seasonal smoothie sour or ask Elise to make you a Tangerine Paloma! Such a great spot to bring family or friends visiting the area. And dog friendly!!!

Great place to grab a drink and hang out with friends/family. Although it was busy when I went, the service was excellent!

Great food and beer, terrific live music. Pretty kid friendly but there is not great kid seating and there is a lot of scrap metal/broken concrete around for kids to get hurt on. There are signs but no fencing or better boundaries to keep kids out.

Visited on a Saturday; difficult to find parking; Drink service was fast and solid; Regarding food, sold out of many things and waited over an hour before having to visit counter to pick up what should have been delivered to the table. Much better experience at the Greensboro location. Won’t be back to this location.

Recently, I savored an amazing quesadillas experience at Steel Hands. Along with tacos were incredible, bursting with flavor and offering options for every taste preference. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was attentive, with special thanks to Paul, the standout bartender, for his expert cocktail recommendations. Overall, Steel Hands delivers on all fronts— welcoming ambiance and top-notch service. It’s a definite must-visit for taco lovers, and I’ll be back for more Taco Tuesdays!

Steel hands was the absolute best brewery I have visited in the Columbia area. They have the most welcoming atmosphere and to top it off, an amazing group of staff that were able to accommodate a 10/10 experience. All of the bartenders that I interacted with were extremely helpful and some of the nicest people. The food was outstanding, I will definitely be back!

Disappointing Experience at Steel Hands BreweryI recently visited Steel Hands Brewery for a gym event and unfortunately had a deeply disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. As one of the few black patrons in the establishment, my friend and I were subjected to blatant racial profiling.Upon entering, the staff’s demeanor immediately shifted, and we were met with suspicion and hostility. Despite presenting valid identification, the staff member questioned its authenticity in a manner that was both humiliating and demeaning. After making me feel uncomfortable I advised the staff member that I would prefer to have someone else make my drink and she walked off saying good luck having someone else serve you. What’s particularly egregious is that me and my friend were the only people in our diverse party who were asked for ID. This blatant discrepancy in treatment based on race is completely unacceptable and highlights the deeply ingrained systemic issues that continue to plague our society. In addition to the appalling treatment we received, the overall atmosphere at Steel Hands Brewery left much to be desired. The staff’s lack of professionalism and the unwelcoming environment they fostered overshadowed any enjoyment we might have derived from the visit. As someone who values inclusivity and respects all individuals regardless of race, I cannot in good conscience recommend Steel Hands Brewery to others. Until they address and rectify their discriminatory practices, I urge fellow patrons to reconsider supporting this establishment. Discrimination has no place in any business, and it’s crucial that we hold establishments like Steel Hands Brewery accountable for their actions.Edit to add:The owner responded on google with lies from his staff so I will add my response to that here. I not once used profanity with your staff but because I am black I am guessing that she was able to get away with that lie and you believed her. I stayed a whole hour after the ordeal with my party and left before the rest of them. Your staff member made faces the whole time she checked my ID to insinuate that the ID was fake. Another lady in my party who is white and 31 years old (same age as me) stated that her ID was not checked. As did a few other people in my party. I was not rude when I told your staff member that I would have someone else make my drink I simply stated I no longer felt comfortable with her making my drink based on how she was acting and making faces because I simply asked why it took her so long to look at my ID. Your staff member started the whole confrontation so it is not on me if she decided to cry. White women have a history of crying to come off like the victim in situations that they have caused. Google Central Park Karen as an example. There absolutely was humiliation and ill will caused between me and my friend and obviously there was none caused to the rest of the party because they were white.

Wonderful staff! Very accommodating to all of our needs. We had the doppelbock and it was one of the best beers I’ve had from any SC brewery! Food was delicious I got the smash burger with bacon and I highly recommend! The bruschetta was also delicious and is great to share with others. Great live music too! One of me and my family’s favorite spots to go. Even when it gets crowded with other events they still find time to look out for us smaller groups. The service was fast and unparalleled! Well done guys!! Will be back!

Steel Hands Brewing exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time. The food was absolutely delicious, and their selection of craft beers was top-notch. I especially loved the live music playing in the background—it really added to the lively ambiance. But what truly stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for a fantastic brewery with great food, beer, live music, and outstanding customer service, look no further than Steel Hands Brewing!

Great place to relax, enjoy good food and listen to music. The beer on tap selection is excellent and each time we go, there is a new beer to try. We drive about an hour from Aiken to spend a few hours. Well worth it.
