I love Jamaican food and i am always willing to try and help out new places. This was not it for me,
The food was delicious. The fries and fried fish and shrimp have a great flavor and are well seasoned. My son loved the snapper and rice and peas.
Food was🔥🔥 cozy little spot. Don't be in a rush... authentic jamaican food and vibe
The food was good but my sister ordered oxtails and she only received about 3 small pieces and 1 medium sized piece. I had the curry chicken and it was like shredded chicken. The waitress taking the order was very nice and friendly.
I ordered jerk chicken with plantains and cabbage on Wednesday night Thursday morning I woke up with a stomach bug and vomited 4x that day couldn’t keep anything down. The jerk chicken came with a sauce on it that was salty/sweet which I was not expecting since jerk chicken is usually cooked charred on a grill. I still ate it because it didn’t necessarily taste rancid but looking back I properly confused the saltiness with mild sourness. Anywho I’ve ordered from Reggae in the past and usually have no complaints but after reading some recent reviews from the last 3 months I see I’m not alone in my experience with getting sick. Idk if they’re serving old food, not storing it properly or maintaining the food temp throughout the day but there needs to be some quality control happening im not the first person to have this experience and I unfortunately don’t think I’ll be the last and sadly this ends my patronage with Reggae. I have other health issues and not being able to hydrate or eat on Thursday have taken a toll on my body that I’m still dealing with :(
The food was good but they didn't serve rice and peas with the stewed chicken. You have to pay extra to get it. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was good.
Order out only. Food is wonderful and inexpensive. Wait staff is attentive. Music is loud, but this place is not really a restaurant… it is a bar/ hangout/club
Try the chicken and shrimp rasta pasta. Best I've had. Wait time is typically over 30 mins though. But we'll worth the wait. Have a drink in the meantime...
Just did not like the atmosphere. Took quite some time to get the food. Probably won’t return.
I have gotten incorrect or missing items two times in a row after ordering from here with no refund

Played nice music. Nice vibes. Good was TERRIBLE. When I first tried it I thought I could have made this at home. Then when I woke up throwing up at 1 am and having diarrheal I knew it was the food. I haven't thrown up in 4 years.

Trice server
The cook Maurice
Mannnn... food was sooo good, I forgot to take a picture. Anyway....Mrs. Marsha the bartender was very sweet and wonderful. Mrs. Bammy, another employee was also friendly and funny. The drinks were tasty and my hubs and I enjoyed the music and shooting pool. We will definetly be back!
Worst jamaican food I ever came across
I ordered a large and recieved mostly bones
Plantains was burnt..won't be returning
Very pleased with EVERYTHING! Bestie and I had lunch, she had Brown Stewed Red Snapper and I had Curry Chicken....no complaints at all. A1 customer service! Drinks were good too. I definitely recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
