This trip I had the Filet steak, it was outstanding cook just as ordered. We drive 47 miles to eat at The School House, every so often. The food is fantastic. If you have not been here I recommend you give it a try. I advise you make reservations to avoid a long wait on Friday and Saturday.
Passing restaurant on ride home from Master Tournament. No reservations but found a good spot to accommodate 4 of us “outstanding”. Love to come back but long ride from Michigan
My absolute favorite restaurant. Food is great. Definitely make sure you either get a reservation or go around 8pm for fastest service due to popularity.
The Old Schoolhouse Restaurant and Bar is a unique destination in the country, offering a piece of history in a beautifully restored building. The restaurant serves excellent seafood and steak options, including salmon and steak with mushrooms and gravy. The service is pleasant, despite occasional short staffing. The menu features a refreshing house salad with a variety of vegetables and boiled egg. While wheelchair accessibility could be improved, with only one handicap parking space available and a gravel parking lot, the restaurant is still worth a visit for its excellent food and unique atmosphere.
