Not a fan of writing bad reviews, but with an expensive world we live in and the quality of going out constantly leaving me regretful of spending money… I have to. My family of three came here for lunch, our total was $73.40 after an 18% tip. After reviewing menus online, we came in expecting a certain menu. No signage, or online information regarding select menu items only. We ordered a duck confit sandwich, chicken and waffles, and a kids fried shrimp. The duck confit sand was pretty good.. not $22 good. On the other hand the chicken and waffles needed some help, it was also served with a hair on the plate. Servers had their hair pulled back and so I know sometimes you can’t help these things from happening but overall general cleaning of the restaurant had been overlooked and neglected tremendously. There are bare minimum things you expect to come with a price for eating out. Maybe dinner service is better? First time customer, and won’t be returning.

Kid-friendliness: Kid menus, no boosters or high chairs.

Loved this little neighborhood cafe! Exceptional food, attentive staff. We really enjoyed it. The food on the surrounding tables all looked equally delicious, and I could hear the people chatting up about how good it was.
Give it a try. I think you'll really like it.

I only took a pic of the fried green tomato app. ?

Absolutely amazing breakfast place downtown Charleston. Justin and Rosie have the best vibes ever - really made the experience 11/10. The food was killer (recommend the chicken salad sandwich). Mimosas and coffee were also ELITE. I really recommend if you are trying to have a chill, fun breakfast that doesn’t blow the bank! Top breakfast place downtown Charleston.

Ask for Rose she’s a great wait staff and makes sure to check on your meal throughout the experience here. I sat alone and she was more than welcomed company who demonstrated exemplary service despite a busy period. Give that girl a raise !

Had it on the saved list, and I'm not sure why it took so long to get there. I had the duck BLT, and it was well worth it. It was loaded with duck, and the friee green tomatoe gave it a little tang. Highly recommend. We will be going back for lunch there.

The pleasant atmosphere of this neighborhood eatery was enhanced by the energetic service of the wait staff. Large windows bring in sunshine and views of the pretty Charleston street, brightening the cheery dining room. Our brunch featured novel omelettes, fresh-baked bread and effervescent mimosas. It was tasty and fairly priced.

Kid-friendliness: Children would be welcome here.
