Took over an hour to get a salad and burger to go. All the locals avoid this place, and it only exists to serve cruise guests. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere.

Aaron's Deli is part of the same establishment as Hyman's Seafood but seems like an afterthought. They might be ok if you sit at the bar, but getting a take out order taken and filled was like pulling teeth. The bartenders made it clear they weren't concerned with serving to-go orders, and repeatedly prioritized serving bar patrons instead of filling our order. 25 minutes for a to-go order is ridiculous. I wouldn't waste my time again.

Pastrami Rueben meat was terrible. Mostly fat and couldn't chew the pieces that weren't fat.Bartender was not friendly and very slow to take orders.Friendly patrons and good atmosphere. Odd that Aaron's Deli is really just arm (meaning section of menu) of Hyman Seafood restaurant. So maybe that's why meat was awful and I should have ordered sea food.

FINALLY GOOD PICKLES, you want real deli come here. The food took a bit to come out but we were there during peak time and it was definitely worth it. The burger club (I think that was the name) was really good, definitely recommend that with the chips. The key lime pie was also very tasty, it had the perfect tang. Overall this was a very enjoyable experience especially since my family has history with this place and I was able to listen to their stories about it. Definitely recommend here except you should plan around the wait for the food, but it IS worth it!

We ordered a large combo corned beef/pastrami. I've never had it served like a club sandwich with a middle slice. The bread seemed like thin sliced Pepperidge Farm. The beef was tasteless and their was very little "peppery" seasoning on the pastrami. On the good side, people sitting near us seemed to be enjoying their seafood from that menu. Go for the seafood, not the deli.

We had a near 7 hrs drive and ordered couple of deli sandwiches - pastrami & chicken salad and they were delicious.

My wife and I orderd a carry out sandwich (King Street Singer) of corned beef and pastrami to share at the airport before our departure after a 5-day Charleston visit.. It was massive, loaded with corned beef and pastrami! The flavorwas outstanding and we were both full even though we shared.

After eating at their sister restaurant, Hymens seafood, we were very hopeful but it was a little disappointing. We did take out due to COVID and it was just very average. Not sure the rye bread wasn’t store bought. Will just make the time for Hymens the next time.
