I ordered the fatayer with lamb and got the gyro 🥙 fatayer. Did not want that and tried to make sure the person taking my order understood. However, when I questioned what was on the screen she said it was both lamb and beef. That was incorrect. They use too much cheese and oil. Would not recommend.

Ali Baba has clearly established itself as the reliable choice on Daniel Island. This hidden gem cooks up a consistently great menu and never disappoints. Their meats and sides are always fresh, flavorful and always cooked perfectly. May not impress from the facade, but the lamb, chicken and beef always exceeds expectations.

Back in Charleston for a visit and STILL the falafel, hummus, rice and beef shawarma are amazing! Oh and don't forget the pistachio baklava. What are you waiting for?
