They did not provide the right amount of food for my party. I paid them in full before I saw the amount. Then the owner or manager refused to speak to me to make it right! I had to send someone to buy more food while my guests were there or I would have been embarrassed that there wasn’t enough. I never write reviews- but I was shocked by their unprofessionalism.
Ali Baba is a lovely and healthy option for anyone looking for a quick meal.
Overall, they did a great job.
As a first-time visitor, I tried their platter, and I plan to return to explore more of their menu.

Food was quick, but the way it was wrapped made it dripping everywhere and ruined my shirt and pant
Also, there was barely any spices in the food, which made it tasteless

I was so happy to see loads of authentic, clearly labeled, naturally vegan middle eastern dishes that weren't the "same old same old!" We ordered: Foul Madamas, Greek Apple Orzo Salad, Saffron Potato Salad, (my least fave) Leeks Stew, Pomegranate Muhamara, and Sauteed Eggplant (my most fave!).
I love middle Eastern food ... hummus, baba ganoush, felafel, etc. But those are among the standard options, and I get bored after a while. The food is wonderful!
I've been coming here for over a year now, ever since I moved to Daniel Island; I've already ordered take-out from Ali Baba Deli more than 50 times! The food is delicious, the portions are generous & satisfying, and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I tend to stick with the same menu item nearly every time (the Mixed Grill Platter), so I can't speak to the entirety of the menu...but everything I've ordered from this restaurant, I've enjoyed!

It was disappointing. I chose this restaurant for dinner based on the good comments. However, I believe that people who have made good comments are not familiar with fresh and high quality Mediterranean dishes. So I, as a Mediterranean, would like to share my thoughts. The desserts were stale. We could taste rancid oil in Baklava. The lamb and kofta kebobs were awful. They were dry and too spicy. A good kebob must be juicy and tastes like meat not spices. In general the food was below average compared to the real Mediterranean restaurants.

Ordered through Grubhub. Have not gone to the restaurant. Ordered Gyros. They were great. The best I’ve had since my favorite Greek restaurant closed. Meat has great and Sauce was perfection. Tomatoes and lettuce were just the right amount. Next time I’m on Daniel Island at lunch or dinner time definitely going to this restaurant.
