Mpishi Restaurant Reviews
This restaurant is a wonderful place to go. Jen, our server, was so friendly and fun. She made you feel so welcome. The food was delicious. They play fun music while you’re enjoying your meal. Definitely put it on your list of places to go.
I I love to support our local businesses and restaurants here on DI and want to plug the new dinner options that Mpishi has on Friday nights from 5-8 pm. We had dinner there last night and the food was AMAZING! The food was fresh and light and the chef did a wonderful job catering to the many different diet restrictions in our group. SO excited to have a dinner option for healthy food here on DI! Highly recommend everyone trying them!!
Excellent fresh healthy food choices, especially love the dinner menu on Friday nights from 5-8pm
Desserts are exceptional as well! Must try if you like fresh Mediterranean food!

Mpishi Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and nice outdoor seating. The menu features a variety of dishes, including breakfast quesadillas with grits, tuna salad, and avocado toast with arugula and boiled egg slices. The restaurant also serves delicious chai latte with almond milk. Customers praise the smoked BBQ, especially the brisket and smoked chicken, which are considered some of the best around. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff like Jenn providing quick and thoughtful service even during busy times. The restaurant's concert menu feels like a Mediterranean BBQ, and the Friday night smoked barbecue is highly recommended, offering great flavor at affordable prices. The breakfast menu is also a highlight, featuring made-from-scratch cinnamon rolls and other homemade treats. Customers enjoy the lively atmosphere, fun music, and creative cocktails, along with happy hour specials like three-dollar tacos—fish, salmon, chicken, and short rib—and the area’s least expensive liquor and whiskey. Overall, Mpishi is a popular spot for enjoyable meals, good vibes, and a relaxed environment.
