Pleasant wait staff, great ambiance and food was good. The she crab soup was pretty good but a little stingy with the sherry and felt that it was filled with unnecessary ingredients. Stick with just the crab:) thank you!
The restaurant has wonderful aesthetics. Loved the whimsy horse decor of the small upstairs dinning room. Our lovely young waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. Fried green tomatoes and She Crab soup were wonderful. My only criticism is the portion of entrees for the price. Martinis were on point. Great fancy date night dinner.
Everything about Anson is exceptional!! The hospitality, food and atmosphere are all amazing. We dined here twice during our most recent trip to Charleston and our server was so attentive to our son...she went above and beyond. A few standout menu items: any steak dish, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, lobster bucatini and the pan roasted grouper.
