“I loved the casual vibe and classic tuna roll at this King St spot. I always ask for sriracha with my tuna rolls, and I’m not sure what brand it was, but it was delicious and even spicier than usual. The miso soup was somehow on the sweet side, which I liked. My husband had the beef yakisoba, which was very flavorful. Great prices/portions, especially considering the location.“

“My wife and I went to this restaurant for our date night and man were we blown away with how incredible the food was!! I mean every single thing was delicious with flavors that stand out amongst other restaurants! The service was A1! There was a parking fee for the parking outside however it was validated after we purchased food from the restaurant using the code on the receipt which made it free. I have to give a special thanks to one of the chefs named Ant! He initially told us that the Sushi Corn Dog was sold out, however when he saw how sad my wife looked when she mentioned that we were really looking forward to trying to it for our first visit, he then said he would make an exception. He mentioned that since this was our first time he would go back in the kitchen and fix us up one. For those reading this I understood that “sold out” just meant they sold the amount that was intended to sell that day” Now I understood that he could have easily left to go home because he was finished for the day but he stayed just to make sure we were taken care of! I couldn’t thank him enough for that!! Another cook named Jason was extremely kind and courtesies to us the entire time we were there! “Located within the Charles Towne Fermatory, Bok Choy Boy is SO good! Truly a hidden gem. We got the dumplings, hot buns, and croffles (strawberry, s’mores and Oreo) and everything was phenomenal. We ordered more to go because it was so good. Will definitely be returning!“

My husband and I have been going here since moving to John’s island a couple years ago. Always the same kind woman at the front taking orders and the food is always soooo so good after church on Sundays!! Our go to spot!! AND SUPER FAST! Sushi is amazing and hibachi and teriyaki as well.

“I visited this place because it was right down the street from the hostel I was staying at.

It was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had! It was delicious and had a good ratio between the veggies and meat. The bread was fresh and the flavor was fantastic. I’m so grateful I stopped by. The sandwich was filling as I hadn’t eaten lunch and was having it before my flight back home, so it made for a quick dinner!

“I ate the Pitoon(Braised Duck). It is cooked in yellow curry with vegetables served over white rice. The spice level was mild. The food was delicious and the service was good. This restaurant is very popular. We didn't have to wait for a seat but there was a line as we left during lunch time on Sunday.“

“We used Roti Rolls as a food truck at our wedding and it was epic. The food is amazing, they brought high energy and everyone had so much fun ordering their food. We heard from so many guests that it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had. “This was our first time trying this place and we will order again. I’d like for the community to support this family-run business. They are trying hard to make it work. The Special Fried rice was good, but not great. The chicken pieces were odd: too soft, fatty and almost translucent. It lacked flavor. However, we also got the cashew chicken and asked to add broccoli. That had great flavor and a good sauce. They only do take out. The “dining room” has become a makeshift area for their young son to play. It has the vibe of the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” I’d like to support them and hope it gets better for them.“

“Really good sushi deals and to me the sushi is good, otherwise food is up to your individual taste. Prices are not bad. Their white sauce is watery mayonnaise. Someone must like it but noone I know likes it. Rice is ok, but I don't care for it. Food isn't bad at all, I guess I just compare it to yokoso and I love their rice and stuff. Smaller dine in area, can be hot inside, but i get hot easily so not sure. People are always nice.“
