Amazing atmosphere, open air, great food and good service! Will be back!
We went in , were seated. Waited waited waited. Another table was seated . We saw them get their drinks and appetizers. We still had no server come over . We finally after 15 plus minutes left. They were rude . Terrible experience.

It's a family-run business, and the owner is accommodating. The menu is extensive, with a wide range of options, from "gringo tacos" to specialty dishes like Chile Colorado. Customers praise the food, which is not overly salty, and the fast service. Standout dishes include the sizzling Steak Ranchero and the delicious churros with ice cream. The margaritas are also excellent. This James Island location is an absolute favorite Mexican place in all of Charleston. Nothing else compares for miles! The food was also perfect for children. The jalapeño salsa is exceptional!
