My wife and I had a great experience. (We weren't alone as this Thursday 7pm evening had the place filled with the young and beautiful people of Charleston.) Everyone who served us---Bella, Jason, Logan, and Thomas in the back---was a professional in the highest sense of the word. They were friendly, efficient, and on top of it. The food was all simply wonderful. My wife's swordfish special left her essentially speechless, marveling at all the flavors. My naughty burger...

Great vegan options and coffee/golden milk latte. Everything was delicious and the corn ribs were incredible! They also had a pretty interesting wine list that I wished I was able to sample.

My [vegetarian] wife and I enjoyed Basic Kitchen so much during our weekend visit that we returned the next day for another meal. The menu, service, and ambiance were exceptional...and we look forward to returning whenever in/near Charleston. All the best!
