Kind of a bizarre experience at Beautiful South. We were seated very quickly, which was great (restaurant was relatively empty since we were there early for happy hour). When we started pondering the Happy Hour, the host overheard us and very nicely pointed out that the Happy Hour was for any cocktail on the menu, but we had to sit at the bar.

Always a pleasure to visit Beautiful South. The staff is all friendly, attentive, and accommodating. And the space is inviting and alive. The dining area has a more cozy section with booths and a buzzier section with small tables, but we always enjoy the spaceous bar, where Johnathan and Gabriel make excellent drinks (on and off menu) and are genuinely hospitable fellas. Beautiful space. Came here on Saturday night. Absolutely delicious food. Had the crab Rangoon which came with these wonton chips. Shrimp shumai also was amazing. Then shared the pork Lo mein and general tsos chicken. Everything was spectacular. Service was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back!
