Amazing food and I've been there 4 times and every time I waited at least an hour before food appeared. I can't come back until they figure out their hospitality strategy. Should include limiting their menu to accommodate their small kitchen. By all means, try it if you have plenty of time on your hands.

The Best food in Charleston‼️ Great ambiance & wonderful customer service. I highly suggest the Suya, Shito crab rice, Plantains, and Pineapple Ginger juice.

Incredible experience! I got the passion fruit juice, beef skewers, spicy crab rice and soursop guava ice cream. The flavors were out of this world and each dish better than the last. I will definitely be back.

They have out of the ordinary food cooked with great care. In my case I had a tasty whole fish presented in a most appetizing way. My wife loves lamb and found her meal equally delicious. The chef interacted with us to explain some of the culinary details. So good to experience a different style of cooking. Well worth heading up there out of the town center.

No tables for 2 adults and 2 kids but they were able to accommodate us since it was our last day in town. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so chill and authentic. Highly recommend!

Such a treat to eat here, we ordered about half of the menu and really loved every dish and the ice cream flavors were delightful and nuanced! Would eat here every night if I could and the Bintu folks were lovely!

If you are looking for an African restaurant in Charleston, this is your place! But be ready for a long meal. The staff were all amazing but lunch took about 2 and a half hours. Besides that, the food was mind blowing, the flavors were incredible and every dish that I tried, I genuinely enjoyed. I got the Goat Egusi, it was earthy, salty and the fufu was delicious. But what really stole the show was the Yassa Lamb, absolutely delectable and was almost like an African Lamb Stew. My friend got the Mafé which was nutty and slightly spicy and nicely cooked. We got a side of Fried Plantains which were perfectly sweet and crunchy and for dessert we shared the Baobab, which was incredibly creamy and sweet. All in all we loved the food, but the wait took some of the enjoyment away. We will definitely be coming back!!

Ordered takeout at 12:10, waited until 1:25 for chicken wings and vegetarian stew when they said it’d be another 20-45 minutes so we left. Thanks for the response, updated the rating.

We had a reservation for 5:30 and did not get our food until 7:30. We asked several times when was our food coming and at the 2 hour mark we were told a large order came in, after we had ordered, and somehow that took precedence over us. The gentlemen we asked didn’t seemed fazed that we had been there that long, no apology. Our server was very nice and kept apologizing and saying now sorry she was. Very disappointed
