Honestly, the best meal I've had in Charleston in a long time. Our group had vegans and non-vegans, and we all had plenty of delicious options to choose from. I'll be dreaming about some of these dishes for a long time!

Bintu is an African cuisine Mecca! I loved everything I ordered from here. The decor is great and feels welcoming. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating even though they were super busy. Every recommendation sounded like a winner and even though they were out of jollof rice, they had great substitutions. The crab rice was full of amazing lump crab and a whole, fried, soft shell crab. You can taste the chef takes it serious here at Bintü Atelier. The skewers from the grill were amazing. I had stew and fufu for the first time and loved it. The fufu had a fluffy texture and light floral flavor, but was thick enough to make little bites to go with your stew. My wife had crab rice and loved it. The main topic of conversation over our meal was how we need to make sure to come back soon.
