World class chef who is very creative with his menu. The food is on the pricy end but the caliber of the food and service trumps it! “Bintu is an African cuisine Mecca! I loved everything I ordered from here. The decor is great and feels welcoming. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating even though they were super busy. Every recommendation sounded like a winner and even though they were out of jollof rice, they had great substitutions. The crab rice was full of amazing lump crab and a whole, fried, soft shell crab. It was delicious with the perfect amount of spice to add some character to the dish. The fried wings had great texture and I enjoyed every bite. They even had succulent veggies to go with it and I savored every bite. To top it all off they had these plantains that blew my mind. I was abke to wash it all down with their home made juices and it was absolutely refreshing! I’m so in love with this place and can’t wait to come back.“
