Bluerose is becoming one of our staple brunch spots. Their omelettes are amazing (especially when there is a special) and the service is always friendly and attentive. They serve local coffee from Second State & my only suggestion would be to improve the beer selection: it's always a little weird. Some local popular options would be good.

This restaurant has been renovated and has a new menu since my last visit. I was really impressed with the Sunday brunch. My friend ordered the wedge salad which was huge and delicious. I had the grilled cheese with Gouda and tomato soup combo. The soup was perfect for a rainy day to lift my spirits. It was homemade chunky and cheesy. The sandwich was perfect for dipping. A true tale of two cities, but in the end there is peace and harmony. Bluerose is not the kind of place you go if you are in a hurry. Service is not fast, but that is okay, because they make it up in smiles, fresh off the basket ingredients, cocktails and wine and just an overall, great breakfast/brunch experience.
