LOVED the food! We had the crab fat fried rice and the Dan Daniel noodle. Both were amazing. Great flavor, large serving size. Really hard to find tasty authentic Asian food in Charleston, and this rates high on my list of places to go to! Can’t wait for the owner to open up his own restaurant.

On the way home, I had a craving to try more food from Bok Choy Boy since I really liked what I had last time. This time, I ordered the drunken noodles and the jufran banana ketchup fried chicken. Now.... If you didn't grow up on banana ketchup, you should try it! Don't knock it until you try it! Alone, it seriously tastes just like tomato ketchup! In this fried chicken dish, combined with the other spices they put into it, reminds me of Sriracha and the whole dish was addictingly yummy! I think the next time I get it, I'll have to order 2 servings because it's so easy to devour. Fun fact: Banana ketchup was invented by a Philippine scientist named Maria Rosa. Tomato imports into the Philippines had ceased during WWII and so she developed this as a solution to the shortage. Back to the Bok Choy Boy food..... the drunken noodles.... Omg! So good! I brought it home so my kids can try it too and they seriously argued about who was going to get the last bit of it. Lol. While I waited for the food, I sipped on Gwapo since I got hooked when I had it last time. Just as I finished the last sip, the buzzer buzzed and my food was ready to go! Another great experience and cravings satisfied!

Food was really good and authentic. Very flavorful and fresh. Today was a warm day outside but the food along with the atmosphere made it great. Service was quick and they were super polite. They even checked to see if I was enjoying the meal. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend. I've been trying to find a place that serves great Filipino food, and I've finally found it. Thank you!!!

The food was amazing, everything on their menu looked great but we went with the wings and dumplings appetizers with the Tocino bowl entree, pictured. We plan to come back soon to try the rest of the menu, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Holy cow, Bok Choi Boy’s food is amazing! We had the dumplings and boneless chicken wings. Such great flavors! What a great complement to the beers at Charles Towne Fermentory.

The best hole in the wall inside the brewery. I have been secretly stalking Setrini for years and following his pop everywhere and he never and would never disappoint. So when decent to this humble joint, I knew I had to come. What a ride. Once again, I was satisfied. It's not just because I knew I would love his dishes from the get go but because I knew his crew would also deliver his dishes with or without him because they never lag. The pictures don't do justice. There's drinks, there's food. What are you waiting for?

This was some of the best food I have ever had in my life! I ate about 95% of banh mi sandwich leaving my husband a crumb and then ate half his drunken noodles. We both walked out fat and happy. 10/10

First and foremost I want to say this food in next level. The dining scene in Avondale needed this facelift. Its a 10/10 . I hope to see these guy go Brick and Mortar, the diversity and quality that is produces out of such a small space is wild. The Charles towne Fermantory is an awesome space to host these next level magicians. The wings are by far the best wings in Charleston, Home team puts on a good show, CO on king did work, and I know you had the confit wings from the legendary Smoke BBQ.The bread on the Bahn Mi is perfection. the sandwich, peaches and cream.Fried rice, PicassoDumplings, "make you want to slap your Momma."

This food is wonderful quality and cost. The flavor is absolutely delicious. I ordered the drunken noodles and my wife had dumplings. Both were beyond our expectations! We also really enjoyed the environment inside the Charlestowne Fermentory. A great combo so try to check it out for dinner if you are in the area.Vegetarian options: They had multiple vegetarian options that looked good. The vegetarian dish we ordered was very good.Parking: Parking is a bit limited unfortunately, but there are some residential streets that can be used nearby.
