It’d probably be just as good without the aioli and help with how messy it is. Delicious nonetheless, though.Fried green tomato BLT - tomato and bacon were both crispy, pomento cheese was good. Pepper jelly is a nice addition.

A little hole in the wall on the corner of Calhoun. Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had or ever will have. Fun names with high quality ingredients that aren’t found anywhere else. They offer canned drinks of health conscious people, awesome retro nerdy atmosphere, and beyond incredible sandwiches! 100% recommend going here on the daily if you can!

Love the Brown Dog Deli. Food is top notch, staff is great, Natural Light beer in stock. I will say I miss the old spot. They did a great job with the new site but the old site had a lot of history. Every time we come to Charleston we go to the Brown Dog Deli and will continue to do so.

We went here for lunch as a party of 8, on Second Sunday (IYKYK). The staff were super friendly even though they were packed and they accommodated several menu modifications without complaint. The food was fresh and delicious...and the '80s Memorabilia was a fantastic trip down memory lane!

What an absolutely fun find in Charleston! The service was fantastic and there were a great selection of vegan options to choose from. Make sure to try their fries! As a Gen X it was such a delight to look at all the fun 1980s and 1990s collections. Brown Dog Deli is an establishment for all & any College of Charleston students. As a graduate, I still haunt their locations for a piece of nostalgia & happiness. Their vegan meatloaf sandwich is something dreams are made of — delicious vegan cheese, sweet jam & tender meatloaf. Dopamine hit between two slices.
This is seriously my favorite restaurant. The vegetarian menu is so good and I could eat that chicken sandwich everyday. It’s hard to find good veg protein here so I really appreciate the variety and quality!!!

The best smash hamburger I’ve ever had! Fries were also good and the service was excellent.We almost didn’t stop there because we had our small dog and there weren’t tables outside, but they welcomed our dog inside and we were very glad we experienced the Brown Dog Deli!

Very retro vibes with old memorabilia all around. it was fun seeing all the "vintage" games and trinkets from my childhood! The food was delicious and easily customizable for allergies.
