I finally got to try these tacos after reading so many reviews. The good, they are relatively inexpensive ($3 per taco, taxes included(- they provided two sauces and a roasted jalapeño. They were very efficient in taking orders, provided a beeper to notify you when it was done. It is food truck that rotates through mp so there were basic picnic style seats (nothing fancy). I ordered the steak tacos - nothing really stood out for me - sorry! I am comparing them to el molino (al prefer) and the truck near Walmart on the south side (which I think was overpriced and not so friendly).

Love this food truck. I'm from California and Charleston is definitely lacking in the Mexican food category. Cachita's reminds me of home!

I got a Cachitaco, a shrimp taco, and a fish taco. The fish and shrimp tacos were both on a double stacked corn tortilla. I know a lot of places that do this, but I'm just not a fan. The stuff inside was very good though. The cachitaco was AWESOME! 5/5, would eat again. They dip a flour tortilla in the rendered fat from the meat, then char it before filling it up with meat and cheese.

I visited Boone hall Halloween event and saw this food truck. Ordered 2 shrimp tacos and two fish and they were amazing. Then I went back and I ordered the Wanda nachos and omg. First time and I'm hooked....researching locations and hours now because I need more.

I'm a west coaster originally so I've been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food and let me tell you, I think I found it. The tacos were exactly what I was looking for. I love the simplicity of traditional street tacos. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked and when done correctly like this you don't need to add in a ton of sauce or additions. That being said, I am a sauce girl by nature and I would love to see a spicer version of their orange sauce. I ordered 4 tacos and it took about 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend so the wait seemed a little high for an uncomplicated order (the employee was incredibly apologetic). All around these are some of Charleston's best tacos.

The food at Cachita's is SO GOOD. Food truck ambiance, but that is not the important point, the food is the whole point. Service is excellent, food is up quickly, sometimes even faster than I can get there. We were running late, a few minutes after their closing time, but they cheerfully took our order, and the food was ready when we arrived.

Best food truck fare ever. I got good advice and bought the burrito, cuban, and the tacos. We brought everything back to the office and shared amongst 3 of us. Really loved every minute of it as did my entire office. Will be back and hopefully soon. They are in 2 different places in Mt P that I know of. I went to the Advanced Auto location. Not too long a line and quick service. You need to try this!

I am from Mexico and I would give this tacos a 10/10! The tortillas are delicious which is a must for good tacos and the carne asada and Pastor tacos were great. The people working were very friendly.

OK I gave this place three stars to be kind but I changed my mind after two more tries... The food was awful it took forever and they gave me a mess of soggy tacos that I would've rather just thrown away if I hadn't been so hungry and they weren't bite sized! Literally one or two bites!... they constantly want to up charge you for stuff so you have to watch out that they don't rip you off and the whole place just seems dirty! I really do not know where all of these great reviews come from! 10 minutes, I was the only one there at the point mind you, and I got a cold taco, not the flour tortilla I wanted, a soggy corn tortilla and some meat that might as well have been a dog or cat or some thing insane that has obviously been sitting in a bowl all day to keep it at room temperature... But hey, maybe you like crappy Mexican food so go ahead and try it out for yourself!

After having passed by this food truck more times than I care to admit.... We FINALLY stopped and wish we had have earlier! Shrimp Quesadilla. Don't ask questions... Just shrimp and cheese. Simple. Delicious.2 The shrimp taco was great too. As well as the Al pastor. The little green peppers served with each entree will sneak up on you... I'm glad I saved two of them for some leftover eggs for later! The freshly sliced cucumbers are a nice touch to cut down on the heat. Everything was prepared fresh out quick. Glad we tried the churros with honey!

I'm from California originally , and the thing I miss most is the Mexican food. Cachita's is spot on, and everything we've had is amazing! It's now the first place we shoot for when coming through Mt. Pleasant.

Absolutely amazing food!! I ate their fish tacos and they were easily the best I've had in Charleston!

Absolutely can't miss. Best Mexican in Charleston. We always pass by and see a crowd and we finally stopped and it did not disappoint.
