A PLACE TO HANG WITH FRIENDS WHERE YOU AREN’T CRAMMED IN LIKE SARDINES! 🥳 Great drinks, wonderfully open location, plenty of parking, great food options, super nice bathrooms, and you can bring your kids if you don’t want to worry about a sitter (there aren’t a bunch of kids there, but you can bring them if you’d like - my girls love to bring a board game to play or play ping pong on the table they have). Don’t live on James Island? No problem. You don’t have to waste time waiting for a sitter, parking, then waiting in a long line at a bar. That time saved is worth the journey.
Decent place with a limited menu. They distillery a number of alcohols here, with three different brands available. Big space that was very clean.
We had a great time talking with Jake and Ian. Their house liquors and blends are strong and tasty
Great venue
Great space! The staff is nothing short of wonderful.
Couple of months ago I called the number on your website / google listing and it was not working so I didn't come.
This past Saturday I drove out there because google said you were open but when we got there you were closed for private event.
I like your whiskey but doubt I will ever buy a bottle or stop by again based on my experience trying to come out there.
Went there for a wedding this past weekend. The food was delicious and the venue was beautiful.
More than that, though I cannot talk enough about the type of people that work there. my son has a severe egg allergy and even though it was a private event with a specific menu an owner or employee was so kind and went out of his way to go in the back and make him a special meal so he could have something to eat that we would know did not have any egg in it.
Additionally, the bartenders were so nice. They introduced themselves and we’re so friendly. The service was excellent and they went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Shout out Casey specifically but they were all great. If we are ever back in town you bet we will be coming back.
Cool space. Food portions are decent and the prices are competitive. The space is open and inviting. No houses nearby so activities outside don't impact families/children. They have some cool upcoming events like bands that I hope to check out. Staff way more chill than those high strung stress inducers at the pour house, which has residential homes right behind it. Check this place out, it's a breakthrough for the island life.
Good times, great atmosphere great to bring clients for a nice relaxing time. Will most certainly revisit
Really great somewhat hidden spot on James Island. Worth a stop for the locally distilled cocktails - quite the selection for any number of tastes and preferences. Food was great from Roti Rolls. Walkable to CTF brewery too, so you can hit both of them up in one stop. Definitely a cool area and venue for music - we waited too long to make a stop in here.

This is exactly what the island needed!
Good food, good brew, friendly staff.
Great drinks and food. Overall, an awesome venue.
The Rickhouse is a James Island treat! The cocktails are delicious - definitely recommend the Chai Mule. The space has a great vibe, super relaxed and welcoming. Shoutout to Jake for making awesome drinks and being super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
This place is great! Laidback vibe, delicious cocktails and service was perfect- Jake behind the bar, and Chris are awesome. I highly recommend the Chai Mule. I definitely recommend a visit to the Rickhouse if you're in the area!
