Great hotel! Some rooms are under renovation so can be nosie right now! But beautiful hotel! Doggie welcome! Great shopping! But the Charleston place cafe was not so great! Waiter service was terrible! No manager over seeing large groups accommodations! But food was delicious!

One of the top hotels in the world. Superior, attentive helpful staff, immaculate interior and exterior. This was some of the finest hotel service we have ever had.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The staff is the most friendliest staff I have ever come across. My only complaint is that for a big hotel they do not have many seats by the pool so we had to put our name on a wait list.

Very nice hotel and the service staff is top notch. Was here for a conference and it felt very luxurious.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, but The Charleston Place was something different.

What started as a vacation quickly felt like visiting old friends. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming, kind, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. Patrick, one of the bellmen, and August, our butler, deserve a special shoutout. They went above and beyond in ways both big and small, and by the end of the trip, it felt like we’d known them for years.

One of my favorite memories wasn’t even something you’d find in a brochure. Somehow conversations turned into basketball history lessons and debates about the Spurs versus the Knicks. Where else can you get luxury accommodations and a sports talk show all in one stay?

The room was absolutely immaculate. Every space felt thoughtfully maintained and comfortable. The dining options were incredible too. Whether we were grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a meal, everything exceeded expectations.

But what I’ll remember most is how the people made us feel. Luxury is great, but genuine hospitality is rare, and The Charleston Place has mastered it.

Charleston has officially earned a permanent spot on our travel calendar, and The Charleston Place will be our home base every single time.

If you’re planning a trip to Charleston and you’re on the fence about where to stay, do yourself a favor and book The Charleston Place. Come for the beautiful hotel, stay for the people, and don’t be surprised if you leave feeling like you’ve made a few friends along the way.

This hotel has high class service, food, rooms and a new amazing pool, hot tub and patio. Renovations are being completed and it shows they cared about every detail. Looking forward to coming back here again in the future.

Can’t say enough about this experience. My girlfriend and I went for Memorial Day weekend and I was blown away in every aspect. From the assistance with luggage when we arrived, to random delivery’s of macaroons just because, nightly turndown service, this is a 5 star experience.

The on site restaurants are also at an elevated caliber, Breakfest at the palmetto and apps or an after dinner cocktail at the thoroughbred club really enhance the experience.

I was trouble's to hear the pool wasn’t available during our stay for the renovations, but the staff accommodated us and credited us a resort pass for the day without hesitation to ensure we had the best experience

I don’t know when I’ll be back to Charleston, but when that happens, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else
