“Came after the beach. The coronas were ice cold, the trio app was delicious (minus the huge chunk of avacado) the tacos were perfect. We all enjoyed them! We had churros for dessert. After having lukewarm beers and no taste tacos at El jefe the night before this place was great!! Our server Jess was super nice too!! PS Ditch the uniform idea! This place is casual, laid back and comfortable. All the servers looked put together and neat with what they had on! Keep your employees happy.“

“The food was excellent. I had the Bogarden omelette with ham, my husband had a BYO breakfast sandwich & My SIL had the ham & cheese omelette. The portions are large enough to share, the veggies were fresh and full of flavor and there was a large drink selection. It is a small indoor seating area but a back patio and tables on the sidewalk provided plenty of seating for this unique and fun cafe. Coffee & water were self serve and plentiful but if you are a coffee snob/connoisseur… bring your own.“

“We can’t recommend Brick Lane Catering enough! We had 4 food stations and 3 passed bites at our wedding of 110+ people, and while we weren’t familiar with small plate stations before, Christy gave us great explanations and visuals to help us understand the options. Our guests loved being able to try so many different dishes!

“If you are planning a small intimate wedding ceremony & reception in downtown Charleston, Upstairs at Midtown is just your place. While planning our impromptu destination wedding- time allowed for only ONE visit, and one visit was all it took to know it was our spot! From the exceptional customer service and continuous communication with Sofie and her team- it was as if I was there everyday at the venue helping them prepare for our special day. Having to forgo the opportunity of a food tasting, we were a little apprehensive but let me tell you! It was amazing! Our guests ranted and raved about the food all night and for weeks to come. From the hand passed apps, displayed tables, and un-traditional tapas style affair, Upstairs at Midtown gave our guests so much to talk about. Our guests as well as ourselves, were touched at how attentive the staff was. Drinks were always full, and bellies were always fed. They really brought the “family” essence to the evening, and it was truly magical. The newly updated bridal suite on the 3rd floor was not there when we toured the venue and to see it there, day of was awesome! A nice place to slip away and get a moment to breathe, before during and after your night of celebration is simply another detail not missed. We would truly relive the night over again if we could. The atmosphere is pretty typical of fast food places but seemed much cleaner in the dining area than a lot of places.“
