About Cold Shoulder Gourmet

Cold Shoulder Gourmet is a highly recommended restaurant known for its delicious sandwiches and welcoming atmosphere. Customers describe it as more than just a sandwich shop—it's a full culinary experience in a casual setting. The owner, Craig, is praised for being friendly and for his culinary skills. Visitors often say that the sandwiches are some of the best they've ever had and that they will make diners rethink what a sandwich should be. The restaurant pushes the limits of traditional pairings, combining taste and creativity to create unique flavors. There is a wide variety of options, so arriving early is advised because the sandwiches often sell out quickly. The sandwiches are made to go, allowing customers to enjoy Craig's masterpieces in a setting where they can truly appreciate the flavors. In addition to sandwiches, the restaurant offers hot dogs, adding more tasty options. The Spicy 🥵 with capicola, nduja, truffle cream cheese, hot sauce, arugula, and parmesan is highly recommended, described as a religious experience if you catch it. The overall experience is described as a sandwich art, with fresh ingredients and delightful service from Craig.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we walked in, but we are so glad we found this gem! FYI, there is no menu but he does post it on their social media. He makes fresh sandwiches daily and sells till he runs out. Don’t let that deter you! He knows what he’s doing. These sandwiches were next level! 🔥

Can’t ask for better experience between the hospitality and the food !! Craig is supper nice person and goes above and beyond to ensure you will enjoy the sandwich your getting by letting you sample the meat or cheese if you’re unsure.. I drive 10 miles just to eat there once a week . I would say everyone should stop in !!!

What a hidden gem in West Ashley! It’s one of those, if ya know ya know type places because there are no big signs. Small little spot that puts out some fire sandwiches. We got to meet Craig the owner who’s so passionate about making his food. The turkey croissant sandwich was so delicious with all the fixins’! That black truffle hot sauce was so good on top.
Can’t wait to come back and thanks to Scotty for putting us on!
