The soft shell crab sandwich is 5 star excellent. The 45 minute wait to get it (with only 3 orders ahead) is ridiculous and is why this is only a 3 star review. Long wait times are normal there based on my experience. But, the good is excellent.

Talk about fresh seafood this place is a local gem right on James Island with seafood made to order or to take home to prepare. Very quaint and I had the salmon coconut sticky rice bowl with spicy mayo , seaweed , sliced carrots and a medley of other savory veggies. Friendly wait staff and my first visit while in town for the Cooper's River Bridge Run. What a variety of various seafood , from flounder , tuna crab , red snapper, oysters to name a few.

Great quality seafood but a little pricey. The last two times we ordered food it took a very long time. Took them about an hour to shuck a dozen oysters and serve them to us. It wasn’t particularly busy either. I’m not in a rush to go back to order food but will continue to buy fish to take home and cook.

Overall, a great experience. I had a hard time giving it a 4 because how exceptional the ambiance was for a seafood store. Amazing that it did not have a smell that kept you out. I went here because I kept getting Instagram posts and something about half price oysters on Tuesday so instead of going home after work, I made a pitstop. I was pleasantly surprised that all oysters were half off, so I tried smoked oysters, fried oysters, and raw oysters. And they did not dissappoint. The raw oysters were not as flavorful as I would have liked but with their sauce and lemon they were delightful and well prepared. Next the smoked oysters which were really the star of the show. I expected them to be more cooked but they were just well prepared and delicious. The fried oysters were very tasty as they almost always are and the half price situation made them affordable. We had a beer as well and enjoyed our oysters inside. We were confused about the outside area. There is an area but in the back of the parking lot and not real clear that it is part of the property but as we drove off there were a few people over there and looks like a good option that we may try the next time. And I think it may be Tuesday again but adding a Soft Shelled Crab sammie to my order. The other seafood looked fantastic, especially the tuna. I definitely will be back for some of the other options but really like this oyster special.

45 minutes sitting here for a take out order for 5. Not worth it! No apology or acknowledgment from the proprietor.

Super fresh seafood, and a cute back door area. We love the rice bowl and the po boy sandwiches. Definitely want to keep going back!

Never have I ever ordered a fish sandwich anywhere. Not even at McDonald's but this came highly recommended. They have fresh fish also but I was there for the sandwich. 10/10 would recommend to anybody. They have indoor seating but also picnic tables outside. Stop by here on the way or back from Folly. You won't regret it. Amazing.

So the food was really really good. The rice bowl in particular was outstanding and felt like a fair price for a lot of food. On the other hand, 16 dollars for 5 shrimp on a hotdog bun is ridiculous by any measure. Was almost insulting. For that reason, not sure if I’ll be back or not.

Delicious! Got the rice bowl with scallops. So very fresh and flavorful. The variety within the dish allows the eater to create many different bites. It's a really cute space. Feels bright and thoughtful. Got a couple of local beers. They have also a nicely edited wine selection. Cold case with more deliciousness to take home. This would be a lovely place to get goods together for a picnic.

Great seafood spot on James Island. My friend and I went on a Friday for lunch. First of all, I love that they have a parking lot. It is small but we easily found a spot. The menu boasted an impressive array of fresh seafood options, and each dish showcased the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The oysters, served with a mignonette, were a perfect start. The Daily Crudo was fresh and delicious as well. Also, I tried the coconut sticky rice bowl with salmon. It was so flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. The place is small. I could see that it would be difficult to find seating on a busier day. I would definitely come here again and recommend to anyone in and around Charleston.

I was introduced to this restaurant by my daughter-in-law. I was expecting a lot different experience as it's really a fish market and not a restaurant. Very limited seating very long wait times to receive the food and a little overpriced in my opinion.

Expensive, long wait, small portions, but tasty.

Very cool place, fresh seafood (see pics) served to order. Great vibe with craft beer and wine. Small amount of indoor seating but lots of seats outdoors. Definitely worth a visit!!
