Absolutely love this spot. Jorge makes some of my favorite cocktails in Charleston. I genuinely tell my friends I hope he’s working every time we come! Dive feel with fantastic service, dim ambiance, great for a date night or cocktails with friends. Oh also happy hour deals slap and I love the $5 surprise cocktail.
Gorge was possibly the greatest host I’ve had At a bar. We mentioned it was our first time and he generously gifted us a shot that was absolutely wonderful. Each drink is so layered and personable that I feel like I’m tasting a story. Making this my weekly regular, even if just for Gorge’s superb company. What an incredible team and gem of a speakeasy. I understand what’s it’s like to really taste liquor instead of just consume. Amazing!!!
CAVALETTA CAFE!!! If you go here for any reason it should be this drink!! mattey was a fantastic bartender and made me and my partner feel welcomed! She got “the sacrifice” cocktail and says she’d get it every time! The vibe was chill and niche, the music was perfect. They even had 2 tvs one with classic old movies and one with 24/7 anime, apparently they do something different everyday! Ju
