Excellent fried green tomatoes with grits for an appetizer and the She Crab soup was fantastic. I had the 3-piece fried chicken with awesome greens and fried okra. My wife had the fried fish sandwich. The fish was delish. I will go back the next time I visit. I liked the bar and the way it was set up - should probably sit there next time!

We came here for lunch almost two weeks ago and we noticed only 3 servers that were working but surprisingly they did well. The restaurant was clean, the staffs were friendly, and attentive despite busy lunch time and only 3 servers and the food came out fresh and with no long wait!I had fresh salad with grilled chicken, my husband had chili burgers which was amazing! My two older kids had hamburger, pancake and each chose a side of home made mac and cheese. My youngest had burger with bacon and a side of crunchy good seasoned fries.I recommend this place and great job to the waitress on that day we came!! Keep up the good job guys!

I finally stopped in to try it after checking the menu out for a few months while I was in the same plaza. The server directed me towards the fried chicken plate with two sides to try more of the menu. The chicken was well seasoned and literally fell off the bone. The collards were some of the best I’ve had. I would definitely get these again. The Mac and cheese was good, but I might try the pimento cheese grits next time. Overall, everything I had was amazing. I read one girl that gave one star to her chicken being spicy but not seasoned. Ignore that. The chicken is good. This isn’t Bojangles or KFC chicken. Don’t expect it to be. I’ll be back again.

First time here. Nice deco and atmosphere. Riley was a fantastic server. Food we got was great: fried green tomatoes, flounder, chicken sandwich, and bread pudding. Definitely going back to try more items on the menu.

I caught up with an old friend here for brunch and absolutely loved it. Their berry and cream French toast is delicious, and while I've never been a fan of tomatoes, my friend insisted I try their Fried Green Tomatoes and they were amazing! Our server Andrew was incredibly on top of it and friendly. Will definitely be coming here again next time I visit!

We decided at the spur of the moment to have lunch at Florence's, and we are definitely glad we did! All the food was spot on, from the arugula salad to the fried chicken to the sweet tea. And how could I forget the bread pudding with mixed berries? It was one of the best I have had in Charleston. But our server Natalie made the meal; she was attentive throughout. We will definitely be back!

We are. “ locals”, but for some reason we had not eaten at Florence’s before. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday, so decided to go there for lunch. We were delighted by how delicious everything was and also by our server Natalie, who was friendly, efficient, and professional. Chef Matthew came over to say hello, and as it turns out my friend knew him. We are both former food and beverage people, so we’re pretty particular when it comes to restaurants. Everything was delicious-crab cake sandwich, flounder sandwich, red rice, and then chocolate mousse and mixed berry bread pudding for dessert! Thanks for a great luncheon experience!

Great food! I got the fried shrimp and my girlfriend got Flounder and both were delicious. Atmosphere was nice as well!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had reservations and were seated immediately, but the restaurant was not packed. I can understand why they don't have as many customers at dinner as they do at lunch, because the menu looks to have a lot more variety at lunch. So I would suggest going at lunch. The Good: *Everything that I had was very flavorful. I had the pimento cheese fried green tomatoes as my meal and it was enough. Absolutely loved all of the cheese. The grits underneath were also good. *There are so many up and down reviews of the mac and cheese that I was hesitant to order, but it was so good! The perfect consistency and very cheesy. I loved it. *My mom got the crab cakes and I had a bite of them. They were so good. Definitely will have to get myself the next time we are in town. *The frose, it was strong! But it was good. The Bad: *Don't really have much to point out here, just other than the menu. There were some items on the lunch menu item that sounded great - that I wish were also offered at dinner. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I went and ate at Florence’s earlier this week and met up with a group of friends. The food was so amazing, we started with the fried green tomatoes and crab dip that our server Reiley recommended. They were both incredible dishes and a unique twist on typical fried green tomatoes. We all enjoyed our entrees and the portions are huge, we defiantly had left overs. I would highly recommend the flounder or crab cakes. I would highly recommend making the drive and trying Florence’s, it is worth it. We had exceptional service from Reiley and will definitely be back again. ?

My family and I visited Charleston from Cleveland, and went Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen based on online reviews. They did not disappoint, as we had the best shrimp and grits ever! Ashley, our server, was sweet, attentive, and provided us with excellent food recommendations. Highly recommend Florence’s!!
