The fried shrimp was excellent. Best shrimp I’ve ever had. Didn’t love the rice but the green beans were fresh and flavorful. We tried the soup, crab cakes and fried green tomatoes and although I’ve had better tomatoes the other two were great. The cobbler was excellent for dessert—bread pudding was better than ok but not the cobbler. Great service.
The fried okra and squash was delicious, the fried chicken stole the show. If you don’t like spicy food don’t let the hot honey scare you. It was not a hot to just be hot, complimented the chicken perfectly. The Mac and cheese was creamy. The collards could have been cooked a bit longer. Will absolutely come here again to fix my friend chicken cravings.

Point being made, there is a considerable amount of items on this menu that consist of pork.
Additionally, if you don't eat dark meat the hot honey chicken consists of both dark and white meat, according to management they can't offer all white or all dark and it's due to there count no more or less ?.
