Noellea was AMAZING. She helped make my husbands birthday celebration so special. She was so attentive and kind. We’d love to sit in her section everyday. The live music was a great touch to the atmosphere. Very relaxing and not too loud. We had a great time here.

Galpão Gaucho takes hospitality to a whole new level. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed—not only by the warm, attentive service but also by the stunning setting in a beautifully restored historic building.

The dining experience is both generous and high-quality. For one fixed price, guests can enjoy 16 different cuts of meat, a well-stocked salad bar, and a variety of delicious sides. Honestly, everything looked so good we were too full to try them all! It’s an outstanding value for what you get.

The staff were incredibly friendly—so much so that my wife and I joked we’d love to spend the holidays with them. Their warmth and professionalism truly made the evening special.

They also offer a full wine and cocktail list, and we were impressed to discover a gorgeous event space upstairs—perfect for private gatherings or celebrations.

Highly recommend Galpão Gaucho for anyone looking for top-tier food, service, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I had the pleasure of spending my 20th Birthday here. Our waiter/server James was the definition of hospitable. Very funny and kind. Special thanks and shout out to all the kind men who came to serve us plenty different selections of meat and shout out to the chefs who seasoned everything amazingly! As a person who's in the culinary field I love to notice the small details and everything I learned in school I see done here amazingly. They held my birthday cake for me. Told us where we could park. Let us take pictures upstairs. It was honestly the best birthday I've ever had. I may or may not have cried just because everything here met my expectations.. EXCEEDED expectations! So thank you so much for providing this experience for us❤️ My belly is full and my heart is fuller.

This was our fourth time at this Galpao Gaucho, and we were very disappointed with the lack of variety in the meats that were served. Typically, a rodízio has a very wide variety of meats; this was not the case at all today. The “gold picanha” was especially disappointing: lacked flavor and was chewy. Service was down as well, they are very obviously working with a reduced crew. We wi not be back.

Sometimes it felt like they were hovering even when your place card was on red. However we do dine here on certain occasions and love the atmosphere and food. The staff are always pleasant.

Service was amazing. We arrived 30 mins early because traffic and parking was easier than expected
They accommodated us immediately. Sat within 5 mins of arrival. The cold and hot bar were as advertised and fresh. Upon finishing our cold items, fresh offerings of various meat options came quickly. Table service was prompt. Refills on drinks were also prompt. Overall exactly as expected and was a highlight of dining in downtown Charleston since my arrival last year.
