Came here for lunch and was immediately greeted. The place has a cozy, cool vibe. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, it was so hard to choose! I ordered the Open-Faced Sandwich Provençal, and it was absolutely delicious! The salad with vinaigrette was outstanding, I’ll most definitely be back!

My friend and I were desperate for something to eat/drink on one of the hottest days of the summer and decided to stop in here. It was very fresh, flavorful, and fun! I normally avoid dairy however that is hard to do in a French bistro and nevertheless, it was delicious. I had the banana gazpacho, toasted baguette topped with brie and fig jam, and a slice of honeydew on the side. My friend had the same platter substituted with french onion soup. We completed it with a Perrier, iced coffee, and fruity mocktail. Service was fast and friendly despite how busy they were. Thanks Gaulart & Maliclet!

I've visited G&M since the 90s, and it still has the same vibe with delicious food and drinks. I had the Croc Monsieur with a chilled cucumber soup, and my husband had the Open Faced Brie and Turkey on Croissant with a Lemon Chicken soup. Both delicious. Service was very good. Will be back on another trip!

Always good and friendly place to have a quick bite to eat or meet with a friend for something bigger. Around the corner from Museums and attractions. Very good Menu, very friendly service and not overpriced.

The food was a absolutely delicious, every single time we go (lunch and dinner). The only thing that had me give it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it's a very tiny place. I know they can't help that, but if you are looking for a place where you aren't hip to hip with a stranger, this isn't the place. Otherwise, I would totally recommend.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed a crossword puzzle. Our server Sabrina made some great suggestions. We had the O’Rye sandwich with a delicious soup special and The Baron’s Hominy. Great place and great service!

We ate here 3 times in 24 hours!
Lunch was superb, all of their soups are amazing. Then came back after dinner for dessert, forest fruit tart and ice cream! Next day came for brunch lovely toast and coffee on the sidewalk to enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather.
All the staff are so friendly and we had such a great time here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal or snack.

I came here with my family (2 kids 7 & 10) on vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and found seats for us at the counter. We all had soup and sandwiches. My 7 year old loved the soup and brie sandwich so much that she wanted to go back the next day!
