I had such great expectations for this restaurant. Perhaps that's my fault. I found the food to be unseasoned, bland, overcooked, and overall disappointing. Hopefully, it was just an off night. The service was great and the atmosphere was quaint and nice.

A little full at lunchtime but no need to book. Indeed, bread is the only real thing in Charleston. Pleasant meal for the price. The only regret is that the rooms are noisy.

What a cute find?. Had a wonderful lunch one day. So perfect! The staff is so sweet and nice.

This is a go to stop for me when I need a lunch. You also get a drink with your meal so that is a win win for me. Everything I have eaten here is delightful and delicious. I have taken there soups to go quite often, and they are all amazing. Just the right thing for a chilly winters day in downtown Charleston. Dining in the stay is so great. The name of the restaurant says it all, fast and French. If you can find a place to sit you’ll be in and out in no time if you need, or you can sit and chat for a while too. And if there is no seating think about taking it to go and heading on over to Washington Square and enjoy a wonderful picnic lunch. You cannot go wrong with this choice of restaurant.

My all time favorite restaurant. I’ve been dining here regularly since I was in high school and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. If I could eat here every time we go out, I would! My favorites are always the goat toast, veg escargot, chicken normandy or yassa when it’s the special.

Such a pleasant relaxing time here. Makes me feel like I’m in Europe at a lovely cafe. Great service. Chocolate croissant ? recommended and cheese du jour.

We go here after church most Sundays and it is one of our favorite spots in Charleston! Of course the food is fantastic (my favorite is the Monte Cristo) and the outdoor seating is the best, but the topper is they take reservations, there’s never a wait and the bill doesn’t break the bank! That is so hard to find in Charleston. I hope this gem never changes! We need to eventually try their dinners, but it’s so convenient to walk there from St John the Baptist Cathedral.

Wonderful, attentive and kind staff which is another happy surprise nowadays.
