The food is always excellent. I love to come here when I’m in town with my wife. It’s a great place for a date.

Great food for a large late lunch and fun seats outside for people watching. Highlights were the charcuterie board and dill soup.

Nice little hole in the wall. Great place for an afternoon snack and wine.
Charming restaurant with friendly enthusiastic staff. Some of your meals are cooked right at your table, and it is fast and French. The bread basket was a fun mix of choices with real butter( of course). The decor is a mix of old reclaimed door moldings and bright colors. Cool t-shirts.

Restaurant itself was lovely. Decor was fun and colorful. Staff were great and very friendly. Food came out quickly and it was a nice respite from the heat without a long wait.
Loved the menu however - my croissant was very obviously reheated and chewy and while it wasnt on the menu every item came with melon (Im allergic) which would have been nice to know. Husband had the special and said it was great and fresh. For such a tiny kitchen they seem to be making it work.
Would absolutely have bought several of the sassy T shirts but the largest size was a l-xl. Bigger/taller sizes would be nice.
My biggest issue however was the chairs. There are only high chairs available which meant I had to stand at the bar to eat; because of back issues I cant get up on them. Knocked a star off for that.
When back again it was so good. Loved the broccoli soup! It was nice. Sat and chatted with couple that moved to town. It was a good place to eat good food and meet people.
We noticed this restaurant the previous day while walking and decided to check it out this afternoon. We only waited about five minutes and then seated in a relaxing area in the back at what seems to be a bar like table top. The homemade Hibiscus punch is amazing. The smoked Salmon is delicious, the Rye bread with cheese hit the spot.

Wonderful French restaurant. I had the soup and sandwich (goat cheese and olive tapenade) special. The service was exceptional and the food was authentic. There was no wait. I sat at the bar and enjoyed their delicious homemade lemonade. If you’re looking for something quick and reliable, I highly recommend Fast and French.

Rat den of a place, dead set gave a ragged and crunchy slice of cantaloupe on the side of bland mustardish soup.

Delicious, fast and very french! Our server was fantastic, attentive but not too pushy. The food was amazing, the Garlic Butter Shrimp had a pesto-esc sauce and plenty of shrimp for the grits. The Ham and Cheese Baguette had pickled apples and authentic mustard which went together perfectly.
We reserved a table for Mother Day Brunch but it honestly wasn’t necessary, they had plenty of open spots. The restaurant was cozy and comfortable, not cramped surprisingly for the size of the building.
I will definitely be going back! Such a great Charleston spot!
